As part of Public Schools Month, the Visalia-Mineral King Lodge conducts a special recognition in support of local schools. Each year, VUSD principals and supervisors recommend outstanding employees for consideration as the Visalia-Mineral King Masonic Lodge’s Teacher, School Employee, and Administrator of the Year. The Superintendent’s Cabinet conducts a final selection process and submits three names for each category. The Masonic Awards Committee then selects the finalists that will be honored and has a tradition of keeping the finalists’ names a secret until the night of the awards.
