·         Miner Emporium:  Come by the Miner Emporium (student store) and check out the new gear. We have beanies, bucket hats, hoodies and t-shirt with our new logo. Get them while supplies last.

·         The Marines will be on campus on Mondays in the quad area, the Army will be on campus on Tuesdays in front of the Career Center, the Navy will be on campus on Wednesdays in front of the Career Center, and the National Guard will in front of the Career Center to answer any questions you may have.

·         Please join us at our first PTSA meeting of the year on Monday, September 9 at 5:30 pm in the career center! Parents, students and staff are welcome as we come together to make El Diamanté a great place to be! We will hear from the Principal and student leadership, as well as a special guest speaker, Officer Zeig, our campus police. You don't want to miss it

·         Homecoming Week is next week August 27th-31st, below are the dress up days, lunch activities and the schedule for Friday's rally:

STUDENT NOTES

·         Miners- Today is the Ice Breaker Pool Party at 5:30 PM. There will be games, prizes, and music. The snack bar will be open for food and drink purchase.  Admission is free.

·         Students:  The last day to make changes to your schedule will be next Friday, August 31st.

·         Back to School Night is Monday, August 27th at 6:00 PM starting in the gym. Students and parents are invited. You will receive a schedule that you will fill out for your parents later this week in your homeroom class.

·         Softball Meeting: next Thursday, August 30th after school in Room 911. Anyone interested is welcome to join.

·         Tulare County College Night will be September 11, 2018 from 5:30-8:00 PM at the International Agri-Center. There will be informational sessions on the following topics: College and University Admissions, Financial Aid, and Scholarship Opportunities. For more information, please see the attached flyer.

·         Students if you need to request a DMV Pink Slip, please go to Mrs. Springer's room 318 with your transcript. You can put in a request to get your Pink Slip before school, during homeroom, and during lunch. Please allow 2 school days for processing before picking it up. We will no longer issue Pink Slips in the Student Services office.
