Attention Miners, for the month of December our focus is on Kindness and helping others. There are numerous victims affected by the Camp Fire in Northern California. This month's homeroom competition will focus on supporting those victims. Drop your coins in the donation box in your homeroom classroom. 100% of the proceeds will go towards buying gift cards to aid the victims in need of food and clothing. The competition will run from December 4th-6th. The homeroom class with the most donated will earn a pizza party on Friday December 7th. ? Winter Formal will be held on Saturday, December 8th from 8 - 11 PM in the El Diamante High School Gym. Tickets will go on sale beginning Monday, December 3 in the Finance Office before school, during lunch or after school for $20 per single ticket w/ASB, $30 per single ticket w/o ASB, $50 per single ticket at the door. Tickets will be on sale through lunch on Friday, December 7. If you do not purchase your tickets by the end of lunch on Friday, you will have to purchase tickets at the door for the increased price. If your date to the dance is NOT a VUSD student you must have an approved guest pass in order for your guest to attend the dance. This is a wonderful public speaking opportunity to earn money toward higher education by presenting a 10 minute speech at one of the Lions Clubs in Visalia. Amounts of awards begin at $100 and increase through each of the 6 levels of competition. If you are interested or would like to know more, see Ms. Reynolds in Student Services who has more information and interest letters that need to be returned before January 17 in order for you to be contacted by a Visalia Lions Club member. This is a wonderful and exciting opportunity given throughout the state of California. If you plan on attending another High School for the 2019-2020 school year, you must submit one of these forms. The 1st Lottery deadline is on February 9th. The 2nd lottery deadline is on April 15th. You must have an approved IntraDistrict transfer to attend a High School that is not in your home boundary line. Old Announcements: ? Jostens will be on campus at lunch tomorrow, 12/7/18 in front of the library to deliver class ring orders. They will also be available to take graduation product orders and answer any questions you may have. ? Attention Miners, for the month of December our focus is on Kindness and helping others. There are numerous victims affected by the Camp Fire in Northern California. This month's homeroom competition will focus on supporting those victims. Drop your coins in the donation box in your homeroom classroom. 100% of the proceeds will go towards buying gift cards to aid the victims in need of food and clothing. The competition will run from December 4th-6th. The homeroom class with the most donated will earn a pizza party on Friday December 7th. ? Winter Formal will be held on Saturday, December 8th from 8 - 11 PM in the El Diamante High School Gym. Tickets will go on sale beginning Monday, December 3 in the Finance Office before school, during lunch or after school for $20 per single ticket w/ASB, $30 per single ticket w/o ASB, $50 per single ticket at the door. Tickets will be on sale through lunch on Friday, December 7. If you do not purchase your tickets by the end of lunch on Friday, you will have to purchase tickets at the door for the increased price. If your date to the dance is NOT a VUSD student you must have an approved guest pass in order for your guest to attend the dance. Guest passes may be picked up in the Student Services Office and must be turned back in to Mrs. Vang no later than Wednesday, December 5 by 3:30 pm in order to get it approved (NO LATE GUEST PASSES WILL BE APPROVED!). Remember that you must be clear of all fines in order to be eligible to attend. In addition, you must present a current valid school I.D. at the door to be admitted to the dance! No exceptions! Appropriate dancing and behavior is expected! Dress Code will be strictly enforced. ? This is a wonderful public speaking opportunity to earn money toward higher education by presenting a 10 minute speech at one of the Lions Clubs in Visalia. Amounts of awards begin at $100 and increase through each of the 6 levels of competition. If you are interested or would like to know more, see Ms. Reynolds in Student Services who has more information and interest letters that need to be returned before January 17 in order for you to be contacted by a Visalia Lions Club member. This is a wonderful and exciting opportunity given throughout the state of California. This is a wonderful public speaking opportunity to earn money toward higher education by presenting a 10 minute speech at one of the Lions Clubs in Visalia. Amounts of awards begin at $100 and increase through each of the 6 levels of competition. If you are interested or would like to know more, see Ms. Reynolds in Student Services who has more information and interest letters that need to be returned before January 17 in order for you to be contacted by a Visalia Lions Club member. This is a wonderful and exciting opportunity given throughout the state of California. You may purchase the exams either in the Finance Office on campus OR on the EDHS web-store online. All test purchases must be made no later than February 14, 2019. No deposit is required, but exams must be paid in full by February 14th for El Diamante to order your exam from CollegeBoard. If your student is taking multiple exams you can purchase one exam at a time to help break up the payments. This is a wonderful public speaking opportunity to earn money toward higher education by presenting a 10 minute speech at one of the Lions Clubs in Visalia. Amounts of awards begin at $100 and increase through each of the 6 levels of competition. This is a wonderful public speaking opportunity to earn money toward higher education by presenting a 10 minute speech at one of the Lions Clubs in Visalia. Amounts of awards begin at $100 and increase through each of the 6 levels of competition. This is a wonderful public speaking opportunity to earn money toward higher education by presenting a 10 minute speech at one of the Lions Clubs in Visalia. Amounts of awards begin at $100 and increase through each of the 6 levels of competition. If you are interested or would like to know more, see Ms. Reynolds in Student Services who has more information and interest letters that need to be returned before January 17 in order for you to be contacted by a Visalia Lions Club member. This is a wonderful and exciting opportunity given throughout the state of California.
