·         Miner Emporium:  Come by the Miner Emporium (student store) and check out the new gear. We have beanies, bucket hats, hoodies and t-shirts with our new logo. Get them while supplies last.

·         The Marines will be on campus on Mondays in the quad area, the Army will be on campus on Tuesdays in front of the Career Center, the Navy will be on campus on Wednesdays in front of the Career Center, and the National Guard will be on campus on Thursdays in the quad area, to answer any questions you may have.

STUDENT NOTES

Today:

·         ATTENTION SENIORS:  It's time for the senior panoramic photo.  This will take place today during homeroom. Report to your homeroom class first!  Your teacher will escort you to the Gym for the picture. No props, signs, hand gestures, etc.  Please be careful not to block anyone's face from the pictures.  T-shirt designs must adhere to VUSD dress code guidelines.  Anyone not willing to follow these guidelines and those of the photographer and administration will be asked to leave and will not be in the picture.   Thanks in advance for your cooperation!

·          Miner's Got Talent Show:  The Miner's Got Talent Show is next Thursday, November 15th at 6:30 PM in the theater.  Admission is a $2 donation to the Holiday Food Drive. Auditions will be today, November 7th after school in room 601 - sign up for a spot to audition in the Student Services Office. See Mrs. McBride for any questions in room 601.

Old Announcements:

·         Harvest Dance Pictures are in. You can pick them up in the Finance Office before school, at lunch or after school.

·         Students and parents who have questions regarding how transferable college coursework affects the class ranking system on their transcript, are invited to come during lunch to discuss their individual situation next Thursday, November 15th at 12:30pm in the Career Center.

·         CSUF President's Scholar Program: Interested in a full ride academic scholarship? Visit this info session to learn about the Cal State Fullerton President's Scholar Program and how to apply. The presentation will be on Friday, November 30th, during homeroom. Sign up in the Student Services office.

·         Students if you need to request a DMV Pink Slip, please go to Mrs. Springer's room 318 with your transcript. You can put in a request to get your Pink Slip before school, during homeroom, and during lunch. Please allow 2 school days for processing before picking it up. We will no longer issue Pink Slips in the Student Services office.

SENIOR NOTES

·         Scholarship Workshop:  Seniors-Ms. Bitney is hosting an ongoing scholarship workshop on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in room 605 from 3:30 to 4:30.  This is a great resource for assistance and information about scholarships, so make sure to go by and see her.
