Today:

*         Attention students: You MUST have your new school year ID card to go on and off campus for lunch.

Old Announcements:

*         Girls Basketball will be having an informational meeting for the upcoming season on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 3:30pm in the Cafeteria. Anyone interested in playing girls basketball this season needs to attend the meeting to go over pre-season workouts, tryouts, and ask any questions you may have. Contact Coach Cervantes with any questions.

*         Starting Tuesday, September 3rd, all seniors that have the Diamond symbol on their senior ID cards will have the wonderful opportunity to go through the "Fast Track" lines at lunch to leave campus. There will be two designated spots for the lines, one in front of the attendance office and one next to the band room. This will be ongoing throughout the school year.

*         CSF applications are now available in Rooms 608, 609, 617, the Library, and the Student Services office. Applications can be turned in to Room 617 September 3-6 in Room 617 during Homeroom or lunch. If you have questions regarding the application, see Mrs. Perez in Room 608.

*         September 5th is the last day that you may request a schedule change. Please email your learning director or come into Student Services and fill out a Request to See Learning Director slip for any last concerns about your schedule.

*         EDHS Musical 2020 is High School Musical 2! Audition workshops will be held in the Choir Room, during Homeroom, on Sept 11 (all grade levels) and Sept 12 (Grades 10-12). Mr. Toon and Mr. Witt will be present to answer questions about the audition process, as well as work on the audition songs.

*         Auditions for EDHS Musical 2020 will be held in the Choir Room on Sept 17 & 18 beginning at 5pm. Auditions are open to the entire campus, so everyone is invited to come out and audition!

*         CAL GRANT OPT OUT:  With the implementation of Assembly Bill 2160, California public high schools are required to submit a Cal Grant high school Grade Point Average (GPA) for all graduating seniors, unless the student or parent has opted out of the submission process.  If you do not want El Diamante High School to report a GPA, please pick up the Opt Out Form in the Student Services Office before October 1st.

*         We are inviting 5th to 10th grade students and parents/guardians to Ignite Your Curiosity about the endless career options! Join professionals for conversations about their careers, training needed, and education requirements. Each industry panel will consist of 3-4 professionals. You and your child will choose 3 different panels to visit during the evening. It is going to be held on October 14th, 2019 at 6:00 PM at El Diamante High School. Hope to see you there!

*         The XL Program is up and running! This year's program offerings include, AM & PM Tutoring, Jiu Jitsu, Drama Production, Africana Studies, Computer Programming, and much, much more. As always, snack is free and available to all El Diamante students. Stop by Computer Lab 62 for more information.

*         If you have purchased an ASB Sticker, you will be notified when they are available for pick up. At the football games, there will be an ASB validation list where you can check in and get the ASB Sticker discount.
