VUSD Announces Grab-n-Go Meals Services

Previous Announcements:

*         Attention Miners! As of TODAY, April 6th. We will revert back to this bell schedule<Attachments/EDHS%20RTS%20Bell%20Schedule.pdf> (as shown above).

*         Please look in PowerSchool to check if you are an in-person learner or a distance learner. Also, check if you are on Track A (morning) or Track B (afternoon). If you need to make a change, please contact your Learning Director. Your Learning Director will put you on a waitlist unless you want to change to Distance Learning. At this time, we are unable to accommodate Track changes or in-person learning changes.  Please remain on your same schedule until you have been notified of a change.

*         El Diamante Miners! Grades 9-11 Picture Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 8th and Friday, April 9th from 10 AM-6 PM. We highly encourage our In-Person Learners to re-schedule their appointment times to be during your off track (when you are not in class). This event will continue to be a drive thru event for our Distance Learners. Our Distance Learners, please enter through Crenshaw and exit on Whitendale. *         We are excited to announce the Class of 2021 Graduation will be held in-person for all of our graduates following social distance guidelines. Graduation is set for Thursday, June 3rd at 3:00 PM at the Mineral King Bowl. More information to come.

*         Students and Parents: with sports just starting up and other recent developments, the Yearbook staff has decided that we want to include as much of you and your school life as possible. This means we are planning for a summer delivery in order to include sports and student coverage as well as Senior graduation! This is an unforgettable year, and we want to capture what it was like to live through a pandemic. Sincerely, El Diamante Yearbook.

*         Hello El D Students! This is a message from El D Yearbook.  We would love to get any pictures you have (or want to take) that show you in sports/clubs/organizations to include in the Yearbook. Please click on the link below and open the Google doc.  Then find your sport or club or organization and click on the link. Please note that pictures should demonstrate social distancing and facemasks or they may not make it in the Yearbook. *         ASVAB Test: Due to the pandemic and the campus being closed, we are NOT able to administer the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test on site. In order to still take the ASVAB test at the Visalia office location, you MUST:

     *   Be 17 years old and have parent permission

SENIOR NOTES

*         Attention Seniors: Cap and Gown distribution will be on Wednesday, April 28th from 1-3 PM.  This will be a drive-thru event. Students/Parents will enter on Crenshaw and exit on Akers. If you have not ordered your cap and gown, you still have time. You may place your order one of the following ways:

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

SPORTS

*         Attention Juniors and Seniors who are thinking of playing sports in College. You MUST register with the NCAA Eligibility Center to be eligible to participate. Students must be enrolled in a certain number of academic courses in High School to qualify at the college level. Qualifications vary based on the division in which your College participates in athletics. Speak with your Learning Director if you have any questions or concerns.
