VUSD Announces Grab-n-Go Meals Services

Previous Announcements:

*         Attention Students Grades 9-11: School Pictures have arrived! If you ordered pictures, your pictures are available for pick up in the Student Services Office.

*         Work Permits: Students, ALL work permits expire on 8/18/21. If you are still employed by the same employer and are under 18 years of age, please submit a request for a work permit renewal by Monday, June 14th by clicking here<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdD8VPbo8CFaz_0zMxS8CDk52ryGFsVbei_e6abndWpprXdEA/viewform>. After June 14th, all work permits must be submitted to the District Office for processing. EDHS will resume processing work permits on August 2nd, 2021. *         Pink Slips: Pink slip requests submitted to EDHS by Monday, June 14th, 2021 will be processed. Otherwise, we will resume processing Pink Slips on August 2nd, 2021. *         Welcome to the first ever Virtual Dance Show put on by the El Diamante High School Dance Department. *         Hello!  The El Diamante Girls Golf team is looking for players for next year. My name is Mr. Abbott, and I am the Girls Golf coach. If you are interested then please email me (mabbott at vusd.us<mailto:mabbott at vusd.us>) or stop by my room (603) for more information. It's ok if you've never played before! Every year we get brand new players, and we will teach you everything you need to know. We can also provide golf clubs, golf balls, everything you need.

*         Attention Students: Earn college credits by enrolling in a FASHION class at COS. They are offering online courses this Fall. Please send an email to tiffanyw at cos.edu<mailto:tiffanyw at cos.edu> with any questions.

*         Students and Parents: with sports just starting up and other recent developments, the Yearbook staff has decided that we want to include as much of you and your school life as possible. This means we are planning for a summer delivery in order to include sports and student coverage as well as Senior graduation! This is an unforgettable year, and we want to capture what it was like to live through a pandemic. After May 31st, any additional copies will be first come, first serve. *         Attention Miners: Applications are open for the Black Youth Empowerment Program. This program creates a network of Black leadership across the Central Valley, and advances Black wellness, education, creativity, and empowerment of Diaspora. *         XL El Diamante Program- If you are wanting to participate in any XL Enrichment or need help with Tutoring you can click on the link https://sites.google.com/view/eld-xl/ and you will be directed to our XL website. You will see all our updated Schedules and Zoom tabs for XL Enrichment/Tutoring and TBA Workshops. Also, if you would like to receive a full week of snack you are more the welcome to come down to 608 E. Center St. Visalia every Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 PM. Make sure to bring your school ID for proof of identification. *         ASVAB Test: Due to the pandemic and the campus being closed, we are NOT able to administer the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test on site. In order to still take the ASVAB test at the Visalia office location, you MUST:

     *   Be 17 years old and have parent permission

The last day to request your final transcript is June 11th, 2021.

Students must be enrolled in a certain number of academic courses in High School to qualify at the college level. Qualifications vary based on the division in which your College participates in athletics. Speak with your Learning Director if you have any questions or concerns.
