Intro:
Good Morning Green Acres!

Club fair on Friday during both lunches if interested please sign-up for a club in the Murphy center.

Rules to follow:
Students:  School staff will check for dress code every day throughout the day.  DO NOT wear inappropriate clothing.  When in doubt about an item, see an administrator.

Packet Materials:
Students and Teachers all 1st day packet materials are due to their first period teacher before Friday, August 18th. The class that has all materials in first wins a donut party. Teachers all materials are due to the office by Friday, August 18th. Please make sure you have ALL materials from ALL students, separated, and alphabetized (we have fewer office staff this year, so let's help them out as much as we can:)).

Schedule Change Info:
Students: Schedule changes are finalized by Friday August 25th.    The last day to put in a request for the changing of an incorrect schedule is this Wednesday August 23rd. Schedules cannot be changed after the August 25th deadline.  Schedule request change forms are located in the office.  Reminder that: period, teacher, lunch and in most cases electives changes are not available. Thanks Chargers J

Drama
Calling all Actors, Singers, Dancers, Chimney Sweeps, Statues, any student who want to be in the Little Theatre!  We are celebrating our 38th year in theatrical excellence with the Broadway show "Mary Poppins!"  In every job that must be done there is an element of fun!  All interested students come to rm. 42 at break on Tues., Aug. 15th or Wed., Aug. 16th!  We will explain how to be involved with the show and get a rehearsal calendar.  You can still be in Jazz Band and sports and participate!  There's a place for everyone in the musical!   It's Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

CJSF:
 If you have really good grades and want to join a group that fosters the highest standards in scholarship.  If you are planning to go to a four year university and want to be fully prepared for the challenges of higher education, come join the California Junior Scholarship Federation.  For applications, come see Mrs. Murphy in room 8 and apply today.  All applications are due by August 25.

Pulse:
Attention all PULSE STUDENTS, please report to the Murphy Center after school. If you do not know whether or not you are enrolled in PULSE report to the Murphy Center.

Sports:
Fall sports tryouts begin Monday August 21. Tryouts will be after school from 330-5pm. You must sign up online through Family ID. Please see Mr. Freitas if you have any questions.

P.E.
All pre-first classes will start on Monday the 14th at 7:15.

PE clothes will go on sale Wed during PE class. $15 for a set ($9 shorts-$6 shirt) optional sports bag $5 Lockers will also be handed out on Tues and students will dress on Thursday.
Charger Café:
Cafeteria helpers needed during break & lunch. Must be able to keep up in class work that is missed. You are able to earn a free meal as well as a $2 dollar credit to purchase a 'la cart items that day. See Mrs. Yaeger in the Cafeteria Before school.

Some cafeteria tips for faster service:
a.        Memorize your student ID number for lunch-DO NOT SHARE IT!!
b.       When you finish eating, clean up your trash and place plastic bottles & aluminum cans in green recycling containers.
c.        Students will be dismissed by tables when their trash and table are completely clean.
d.       No food will be allowed in the picnic area or anywhere on the main campus.
e.        All food items are sold both inside the Murphy Center and in the snack lines.
f.         Express line at the Murphy Center is only for combos, hot food and sandwiches. No a 'la cart!
