We are the
"VALLEY CHAMPIONS!!"

Congratulations to our Golden West Football Team! We are so very proud of you!

We will host the Big Bear Bears in the 5-AA State Semi-Finals Friday night at 7:30pm. To help minimize your wait in line, pre-purchase tickets in the front office. They will be available all week until Friday @ 3:30 pm. The gates will open at 5:30 pm where you may also purchase tickets. Tickets will be $12 for adults and $8 for all students and seniors. (Please keep in mind that for CIF playoff games the prices are set by CIF and no ASB discount is accepted. Cash only).

Blazer Spirit shirts are available in the Student Store for $9! Show your Blazer Pride!

**Adopt a Star began Tuesday, November 28 in Room L20 (ASB Room) at Lunch ONLY until all stars are adopted. Instructions will be provided. All gifts must be returned wrapped with the star attached on Tuesday through Thursday, December 5 - 7 during Lunch ONLY.

Sing in the Season with the Golden West Choirs "Home for the Holidays" this Thursday, December 7 beginning at 7:30 PM at L.J. Williams Theater. Student admission is $5 with a valid student I.D. Adult admission is $8.00 and GWHS Faculty and Staff are free.

Lost and Found: Missing anything? Please come into the attendance office before school, after school and during lunch and look through our lost and found items. You would be surprised what gets turned in.

Due to the weather becoming colder we will be allowing students to wear beanies and headbands. Please remember they must be free of logos or decorations. The only logo that will be allowed will be our school logo. The beanies must be a single color white, black, grey, brown, tan or gold. This flexibility only applies to protection from the cold, not for hats. They may only be worn outdoors.

Interested in studying voice? Have no experience, but would like to learn? See Mr. Raheb to sign up for one of our choir classes 2nd semester.

Students, please be aware that we will be conducting tardy sweeps. It is important that you are in your classrooms ready to learn when the tardy bell rings. For this reason, we will be running frequent sweeps. If you are tardy to class during a sweep you will be serving an after school detention. Please avoid this by getting to class on time.

Ablaze club is collecting toiletries (shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.) for the Bethlehem Center. These items will be given to the homeless population in Visalia. Donations can be dropped off in room E-9.

Saturday University: 12/9/17 This is your last opportunity to get some extra help before finals. Register on google classroom before Wednesday to guarantee a lunch. See you in the cafeteria Saturday at 8am.
Counseling Dept.:
