Daily Bulletin - Volume 39; Issue 81
Tuesday, December 12, 2017

**We are on a special Finals Schedule beginning Wednesday, Dec. 13th through Friday, December 15th. Please see attached schedule for details. **

Congratulations to our Golden West Football Team!

A well-deserved win over Big Bear will now advance our Trailblazers into the State Championship Game. The game will be held here at The Groppetti Stadium this Saturday, December 16th @ 6:00 PM. Pre-sale tickets will be available to purchase beginning Tuesday afternoon. More information to follow.

Blazer Spirit shirts are available in the Student Store for $9! Show your Blazer Pride!

Don't forget to purchase your yearbook in room A-11. They are currently on sale for $85 and personalization is still available. Make sure to order it before personalization ends on January 26!
Lost and Found: Missing anything? Please come into the attendance office before school, after school and during lunch and look through our lost and found items. You would be surprised what gets turned in.

Due to the weather becoming colder we will be allowing students to wear beanies and headbands. Please remember they must be free of logos or decorations. The only logo that will be allowed will be our school logo. The beanies must be a single color white, black, grey, brown, tan or gold. This flexibility only applies to protection from the cold, not for hats. They may only be worn outdoors.

Interested in studying voice? Have no experience, but would like to learn? See Mr. Raheb to sign up for one of our choir classes 2nd semester.

Frosh Football Banquet will be held Thursday, December 14th in the cafeteria from 6-8 pm.

Students, please be aware that we will be conducting tardy sweeps. It is important that you are in your classrooms ready to learn when the tardy bell rings. For this reason, we will be running frequent sweeps. If you are tardy to class during a sweep you will be serving an after school detention. Please avoid this by getting to class on time.
Ablaze club is collecting toiletries (shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.) for the Bethlehem Center. These items will be given to the homeless population in Visalia. Donations can be dropped off in room E-9.
Counseling Dept.:

For the 81th consecutive year, the Lions Clubs of California will hold their annual Student Speakers Contest. All grade levels are eligible to participate. Over $103,500 will be paid out in scholarships to the winning students. Local area winners will win $100 and can advance to the district level where the winner will be awarded a $4,500 scholarship and can advance even further in the contest to win up to $21,000. This year students will answer the question: "Integrity and Civility play what role in today's society?" An "Interest Form" is available on the GW Scholarship webpage or come to the Counseling Office and pick one up from the "Presentation Binder". Interest forms are due to Mrs. McIntosh in the counseling office by January 15, 2018.
A representative from Harvard College will be on campus, Tues, January 16, 2018, during 6th period.
