SPRING BREAK will be from Monday March 26th thru Monday April 2rd. Students return to school on Tuesday April 3rd.
Seniors: Cap and Gown order pick up is this Friday (with teacher permission only) at 12:20pm in the front of the main gym.
Are you ready for the schools musical Little Mermaid?
Show times: April 12th & 13th, 7:30pm, April 14th @ 2pm/7:30pm Tickets will be on sale at the Golden West Finance office before school, at lunch and after school starting Monday March 12th. Tickets are $10 for students, $12 for adults and we have a special VIP ticket that includes a backstage character experience and reserved seating! You may also order tickets @ our webstore with a small convenience fee.

Calling all artists and fasionistas: The Second Annual Trashion Show is looking for artists and designers to submit a design to create and show. The event is Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Redwood High School Gym. The winning team wins $50. The judges are teachers. for the Fashion Design Department at COS. Please see Mrs. K in A-9 or Mr. Vieira in A-3 if you are interested for more details.
GW Cheer Squad Tryouts!!!
***Monday March 19th - Thursday March 22nd from 4PM-6PM
(Meet in front of the gym)*** All interested students are encouraged to pick up a Cheer Packet in the front office. Clearance forms are due by the first day of Cheer Clinic, in order to be eligible. Don't miss out on an exciting upcoming season!

Please be aware that we will start with Tardy Sweeps immediately. In order to avoid after school detention due to being caught in a tardy sweep please make sure that you are in your classroom prior to the tardy bell ringing.

Seniors - register in the google classroom to secure your place and a meal. All students - SU is a great way to get that extra help you might need. Register in the google classroom. Teachers/Coaches/Advisors - Spring is a busy time for testing, sports, and club events. This is a perfect opportunity to provide that extra student help.

Representatives from COS Fashion Design & Merchandising staff will be on campus Friday, March 23, 2018 at lunch in the quad. If you have an interest in Fashion/Merchandising please stop by and learn about COS's career educational pathways into these programs. Please sign up in the Counseling Dept. Presentation binder if you would like a reminder for this event.

FCA: FCA Thursdays! Grab a friend or two then head on over to room A-1.
Blazer Buddies Club: We meet every Wednesday during lunch in P-4. New members are welcome!
Anime Club: We will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch. Join up in S-1.
GSA Club: GSA club meets every Thursday during lunch in A-9. New members always welcome!
Creative Writing Club: Let's face it, writing can sometimes be tedious and challenging, but there are many people that would love a time and place to express their creative thoughts! Come on by and enjoy your love for writing with other like-minded friends! The Creative Writing Club is open to everyone and will meet Wednesdays in E-6 during lunch.
XL Program:
Golden West ProYouth XL Program will be taking students on a College Campus Tour of CSU Monterey Bay on Tuesday April 17th, 2017! This trip is free and is open to all students who meet minimum academic requirements - space will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. XL has Afterschool Intervention available every Wednesday and Thursday in E-10 from 3:30-4PM for students who have detention that needs to be served.
