New Announcements

Don't forget tomorrow, Thursday, May 17th is Sports Physicals.  Students must go to the gym at their assigned times wearing gym clothes, t-shirt with elastic waist shorts.  Girls remember to bring a lunch from home as your assigned time is during 4th period or at the beginning of lunch, depending on your last name.  Girls with last names A-L come to gym at 12:15, M-Z come to gym at 12:45.  Boys with last names A-L come to gym at 1:15, boys M-Z come to gym at 1:45.

ATTENTION! Students who will be taking Mr. Ruby's AP English Language and Composition class beginning this fall - there will be a mandatory informational meeting at lunch on Thursday, May 24th in room E-6. We will be discussing the course syllabus, class expectations, and your summer assignments. Attendance is mandatory.  See you Thursday.

Help save a life on Monday, May 21st! Golden West will be hosting its Annual Blood Drive from 8am-12pm! Come pick up a permission slip from Mr. Loliva in room FS-2 as well as sign up for a time slot to go donate blood! Every pint of blood matters; you never know what impact your donation will have on someone's life!!

Girl's Tennis: Meeting TODAY, Wednesday 5/23, during lunch at the Tennis Courts.

ATTENTION JUNIORS SIGNED UP FOR AP GOVERNMENT NEXT YEAR:  Meeting on TUESDAY, MAY 22 at Lunch in FS-4.  Important information will be discussed including getting an early start on the research paper.  If you have any questions, see Mr. Gluckmann.

Chamber Singer Auditions are tomorrow, Wednesday, May 16 & Thursday, May 17 - beginning after school. Both days required. Audition packets and grade checks are available from Mr. Raheb in M1.

ATTN PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF STUDENTS ATTENDING COS - FALL of 2018:
COS will be hosting a "Support Your Giant", Parent & Guardian Orientation on the following dates and locations: HANFORD CENTER:  May 16, 2018 / 4 pm - 5:30 pm/ Vocation Building 105 / RSVP:  hacpoenglish.eventbrite.com

Seniors

Seniors that are going to Grad Nite need to arrive here by 6:45 am this Friday morning. Students will need to make arrangements to be picked up Saturday morning around 7:00 am.

Grad Nite tickets have already been ordered and paid for.  Please be mindful that this trip is a privilege. If you lose your privilege of going on this trip, you will not be refunded your money.

If you still have not picked up your cap and gown, please see Mrs. Cabasa in the front office. Only come by before school, during lunch and after school.

Seniors-If you are planning on attending college in the fall please sign-up for your final transcript to be sent to your college of choice. See the Registrar-Mrs. Hall in the counseling center for request forms.

Seniors you have 1 chance to improve your attendance to WALK AT GRADUATION.
Students you have 1 chance to get the academic support you need.
Teachers you have 1 chance to provide the extra support your students need.
Show up at 8am in the cafeteria - don't be late.
Remaining date: May 19th.

Older Announcements

LOST & FOUND or DRESS CODE ITEMS:  Please come by the main office to identify your belongings as soon as possible.  Items not picked up by the end of the school year will be donated to Goodwill.
Clubs:
Blazer Buddies Club: We meet every Wednesday during lunch in P-4. New members are  welcome!

GSA Club: GSA club meets every Thursday during lunch in A-9. New members always welcome!



XL Program:

XL has Afterschool Intervention available every Wednesday and Thursday in E-10 from 3:30-4PM for students who have detention that needs to be served.
