The Graduation Ceremony will be at the Mineral King Bowl beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Seniors must report to the Redwood Gym at 6 pm.

Reminder, as of May 1st, checks are no longer being accepted.

If you still have not picked up your cap and gown, please see Mrs. Cabasa in the front office. Only come by before school, during lunch and after school.



THIS WEDNESDAY EVENING: Golden West Choir Spring Show 2018 * The Soundtrack of Our Lives. Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 7:30 PM * L.J. Williams Theater. General Admission is $8. Students/Seniors/Staff/Active Military/Under 12 is $5. Tickets available at the door beginning 6:45 PM. Music by Queen, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Imagine Dragons, Adele, Kansas, Meghan Trainor, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Plain White T's, Men Without Hats, Toto, Simon & Garfunkel, Journey, and more!

Seniors

There is a mandatory graduation practice starting at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018. We will be meeting at the Mineral King Bowl and will end practice at approximately 10:30 a.m. Students will need to park on the north side of Mt. Whitney High School.

Seniors are required to clear their obligations with the school by Friday, May 25th. All books must be returned, fees paid, and detention served by Friday, May 25, 2018.

Seniors-If you are planning on attending college in the fall please sign-up for your final transcript to be sent to your college of choice. See the Registrar-Mrs. Hall in the counseling center for request forms.

New Announcements

ATTENTION JUNIORS SIGNED UP FOR AP GOVERNMENT NEXT YEAR:  Meeting TODAY, TUESDAY, MAY 22 at Lunch in FS-4.  Important information will be discussed including getting an early start on the research paper.  If you have any questions, see Mr. Gluckmann.

ATTENTION! If you are taking AP Chemistry NEXT year - there will be a mandatory meeting at lunch on Friday, May 25th in room S-4. We will talk about the course itself and will distribute the summer homework. If you cannot make this meeting, you are responsible for arranging a meeting with Miss Harmon to pick up your summer homework BEFORE finals.

ATTENTION! Students who will be taking Mr. Ruby's AP English Language and Composition class beginning this fall - there will be a mandatory informational meeting at lunch on Thursday, May 24th in room E-6. We will be discussing the course syllabus, class expectations, and your summer assignments. Attendance is mandatory.  See you Thursday.

Older Announcements

LOST & FOUND or DRESS CODE ITEMS:  Please come by the main office to identify your belongings as soon as possible.  Items not picked up by the end of the school year will be donated to Goodwill.
Clubs:
Blazer Buddies Club: We meet every Wednesday during lunch in P-4. New members are welcome!

GSA Club: GSA club meets every Thursday during lunch in A-9. New members always welcome!

XL Program:

XL has Afterschool Intervention available every Wednesday and Thursday in E-10 from 3:30-4PM for students who have detention that needs to be served.
