Is it something you think you would enjoy? XL provides a community outreach group catering to any willing Golden West student. Some of our activities include hospital visits to visit sick children, feeding the homeless at local shelters, cleaning up Visalia by gathering trash around downtown and removing graffiti. We even have fun field trips planned for Quantum Leap and Clay Cafe. We want to create mentors for the incoming middle schoolers by joining in and hanging out with them as friends and peers. XL is a great way to become involved in the community, your school, and with new friends. Not to mention your participation in a group like this would look great in a job interview and on college applications.
