STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
*       LJ AVID Night at Buffalo Wild Wings
Get your Wing on!   Buffalo Wild Wings that is. Help Support la Joya AVID next Wednesday March 8th by encouraging your family to dine at Buffalo Wild Wings. The fundraiser is all day, and includes take out, so come out enjoy delicious wings and Support La Joya AVID!
*       RTI
There is no RTI this week.   We will continue on Thursday March 9th
*       EDHS 8th Grade Preview Day
Yesterday during 1st period, all 8th grade students should have received a yellow permission slip for the El Diamante 8th grade preview day on March 10th.  Please take this home and have your parent sign and return it to your 1st period teacher by Monday, March 6th.  If you need another slip, please see Mrs. Stephens in the Magellon office.
*       PRIDE Lunch League Basketball
We will be starting PRIDE Lunch League Basketball again.  Sign-ups will be today during lunch.
*       Fiesta School Dance
Fiesta Fiesta Fiesta!!! It's finally here! Next Friday is the Fiesta Dance. This will be our last dance, so don't miss out on fun dancing, tacos from Tacos Galacticos, churros, nachos, Jamba Juice photo booth, tattoos, games, and much more!!. Tickets go on sale at lunch next week for $5

*       School-Wide Fundraiser
Please support our spring school-wide fundraiser in selling Cookie-Dough.  Sales start today, Thursday 3-2-17 and ends Thursday 3-16-17.  The TOP selling 1st period class in both 7th and 8th grade will win a donut party! Top three sellers in both 7th and 8th grade will get to SPIN THE MONEY WHEEL! For a chance to win $100!
Fundraiser money supports student activities such as school dances, end of the year celebration, 8th grade Adventure Park, fun end of the year school activities, and much more.   So sell, sell, selll!!!!
*       Pizza Sales
ASB will be selling pizza this Friday. $2 per slice and $1 for a water.
