* Dress Code Reminder
As the weather gets warmer, here is a reminder about the Dress Code.  The Visalia Unified School District Student Conduct Code for grades 7-12 reads as follows:  Clothes shall be worn as intended and be sufficient to conceal undergarments which shall be worn and covered at all times.  See-through or fish-net fabrics, halter tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, off-the shoulder and low-cut tops are not acceptable.  Other types of dress that expose bare midriffs or cleavage are prohibited.  Basketball jersey style tank tops with scooped front, back and armholes are only allowed if worn with a T-shirt with sleeves.  Shirts with cut-off sleeves are not allowed.
* ARK announcement:  Did you know:   KINDNESS IS CONTAGIOUS
The positive effects of kindness are experienced in the brain of everyone who witnessed the act, improving their mood and making them significantly more likely to "pay it forward." This means one good deed in a crowded area can create a domino effect and improve the day of dozens of people!  Don't forget to "follow the signs "and be inspired by the "Kindness Tree" and WEAR TIE DYE TOMORROW!!!!  Teachers, please show the video in the dropbox.
*Garden Club meets today after school.

*WEB News
Do you remember what it felt like to start La Joya as a new 7th grader? Are you kind and friendly. Well WEB is the place for you! WEB applications are available for 7th Graders in the Pathfinder and Magellan Pod.

Wednesday 4/25

Baseball and Softball are home vs. Divisadero, release time is 3:10pm, game time is 4:00pm.


Thursday 4/26

Track is participating in the league meet at Groppetti Stadium, release time is 2:40, start time is 4:00pm.
