Good morning Explorers, let's remember to have La Joya PRIDE in everything we do!

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS


*Pizza Sales
AVID is selling pizza today, $2 a slice and $1 for a water.

*The Holidays are filled with such good cheer. How about spreading some of that good cheer to friends or staff members? AVID is selling Holiday Candy grams beginning Thursday December 13 th  though Tuesday December 18th  for the value price of $1.  Candy grams will be delivered Friday December 21st during 7th period; so make sure you know their 7th period teacher's room number. Make someone's holidays special - get them a Holiday Candy gram!!

*1st Semester Finals Schedule
Finals start the week of Dec. 17th - Monday is a Regular Late Start Schedule with no finals.  Tuesday is 0 period and 1st period Finals.  Students are out at the normal time of 3:13 p.m.  Wednesday is 2nd period and 5th period Finals.  Students out of school at 12:30 p.m.  Thursday is 3rd period and 6th period Finals.  Students out of school at 12:30 p.m.  Friday is 4th  period and 7th period Finals.  Students out at 12:30 p.m.  Please try to have all appointments scheduled outside these times.  Food served before school and at break only.

*The La Joya Band concert and dinner is on Thursday, December 13th, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.  Tickets for the dinner are $6 each.   Come hear the band perform many of your favorite holiday hits.

Home Game- Girls Soccer & Basketball vs. JFK- 3:30pm

Away Game- Boys Soccer & Basketball @ JFK-Release time 2:00pm.

Wrestling practice @ El D- 5:30pm
