Today is a Fun Friday One Lunch bell schedule

Good morning Explorers, let's remember to have La Joya PRIDE in everything we do!

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

*There will be no school on Monday, Feb. 12th, it is a Staff Development Day.

*Fun Lunch Friday
Today is our Fun Lunch Friday!  There will be vendors selling food from 11:45 to 12:50, so come on out and enjoy!   Prices will range between $1.00 and $7.00.

*Band is also selling pizza today at lunch, $2 a slice and $1 for a water.

*Today is the last day to buy Candygrams. You can't beat the deal of buy one get one free. Today will be the last day to let people know you care, and since February is the month of Caring, it makes perfect sense. AVID will have a booth during extended lunch today. Look for us.


Sports news

The student/Staff Basketball game is Wednesday, February 14th.   Come watch your high flying staff take on the varsity teams after school Wednesday in the gym. Promotional video coming next week!

Spring Athletic Try-Outs begin on Tuesday, February 20th.  Sports offered are Baseball, Softball and Track.  Please be signed up on FamilyID prior to try-outs.
