Good morning Explorers, let's remember to have La Joya PRIDE in everything we do!

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

*Mtn Mike's
Students, do you like pizza?  Of course you do.  Do you like doing fun events at La Joya?  That's a yes also.  Well then, join us with your family at Mountain Mike's Pizza on Walnut tonight, for our PBIS Mountain Mike's fundraiser.  For every sale, Mountain Mike's will donate 25% of that sale to La Joya to promote positive behavior on our campus.  That means more prizes at the PRIDE store and more activities at school that you will enjoy.  Be sure to show up with your flyer and have yourself a slice, or two, or three, you get it.  See you there!

*Builders Club will meet today from 3:15 pm until 4 pm in Room 403.

*Garden Club meets today after school.
* Picture Retake Day at La Joya is tomorrow, October 4th.  If you are interested in picture retakes, please sign up in the Pathfinder office.  Also, please return the original pictures in the morning on October 4th.  New pictures will not be retaken unless the unwanted pictures are returned.  If you missed the first opportunity to take pictures, envelopes will be available in the main office and in Pathfinder.  Only those students who are taking first-time pictures need to fill out an envelope.

* We will be having our Fall Rally on Friday, Oct. 5th.

Football home vs Divisadero 4:00pm
Volleyball home vs Valley Oak 4:00pm

Cross Country practice after school @3:30pm

Thursday 10/4
Cross Country Meet @ Cutler Park 3:45pm (release time 2:15)
Football/volleyball practice @ 3:30pm


The La Joya Cross Country team will be holding a jog a thon, on October 9th to raise money for their team. Please consider sponsoring a Cross Country athlete.


Parent  ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a PTSA meeting on Monday, Oct. 15th in the Library from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
