Good morning Explorers, let's remember to have La Joya PRIDE in everything we do!

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

*Builders Club will meet every Wednesday from 3:15 pm until 4 pm in Room 403.
*Students
Our amazing groundskeeper works very hard to make sure that the campus has beautiful flowers, plants, trees.  Please show respect for his efforts by leaving the plants intact, not pulling off their flowers or buds, and staying off the grass.

*Mummy Wrap a Teacher?
Students, how would you like to turn one of your teachers or administrators into a live mummy with a little toilet paper action? Well, that thought is going to be a reality for several students next Friday, the 12th, during the Fun Friday lunch. We will be holding a free raffle for a chance for several students to compete against each other on who can mummy wrap a teacher or administrator the fastest! Tickets will be available for students during both lunches. Be sure to put your name in the raffle, to make sure you are chosen for the mummy wrap competition. Good luck!


Sports ANNOUNCEMENTS

No Practice

The La Joya Cross Country team will be holding a jog a thon, on October 9th to raise money for their team. Please consider sponsoring a Cross Country athlete.


Parent  ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a PTSA meeting on Monday, Oct. 15th in the Library from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
