STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS


• ATTENTION 7TH GRADERS! You can enroll for the 2020 DC/Jamestown/Williamsburg trip! There will be an informational meeting in Room 407 at 5:30 PM on March 28th. Bring your parents to gather information about this exciting opportunity!

•Garden Club has been cancelled for today.
•Students, it's that time again.  Want to eat some delicious pizza while helping La Joya provide fun events at school?  We know you do.  Well then, join us with your family at Mountain Mike's Pizza on Walnut on Wednesday, April 3rd for our PBIS Mountain Mike's fundraiser.  For every sale, Mountain Mike's will donate 25% of that sale to La Joya to promote positive behavior on our campus.  That means more prizes at the PRIDE store and more activities at school that you will enjoy.  Be sure to show up with your flyer and have yourself a slice, or two, or three, you get it.  See you there!
•Today is the last day to turn in any cookie dough orders you have.  Please turn them into your first period teacher or to the Pathfinder office.

•There will be no RTI this week.


• Looking for something to do this Saturday. Come to WIN Academy. You can play board and computer games with Mr. Hefner, play Sports with Mr. Hunt, work on your Anthology Project with Ms. Austerman, or get caught up in ELA with Ms. Moore. On top of that, attending helps you make up an unexcused absence. Sign up through the La Joya website, and encourage a friend to sign up too. Sign up online before the end of school today if you want to order a lunch.

•Congratulations to the La Joya color guard for placing 1st at the SOUTH VALLEY WINTER ARTS ASSOCIATION at Lemoore High school last weekend..👏👏👏  Awesome job Explorers!

Sports ANNOUNCEMENTS

The La Joya  Varsity Softball Team defeated JFK, 14 - 4, on Monday. They were led by Ariel Garcia who pitched a complete game. Collecting hits in the game were – Calissa Butler-Journey and Kiersten Shade (2 hits); and Jaime Ramiscal (1 hit). Defensive standouts were Janessa Campos, Calissa Butler-Journey, and Kiersten Shade.
