STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

*Looking for something to do tomorrow?  Come to WIN Academy.  You can get caught up in a class with Ms. Moore.  On top of that, attending helps you make up an unexcused absence. Sign up<https://forms.gle/mVt6cFYEyW7bZnNf8> through the La Joya website, and encourage a friend to sign up too.

*Hello fellow travelers!   The deadline to sign up for the 2020 D.C./Virginia trip is next Thursday!   For exciting information, please find Ms. Austerman in Room 407!  This will be a trip that provides you with awesome memories!

*Choir is selling pizza today, $2 a slice.

* Hey explorers, it's Red Ribbon Week. Today is Hallow- I mean our totally generic non-specific October dress up day. Dress up in your favorite non-specific October dress up day. Dress code still applies.

*Reminder to all play participants - play practice is today after school in LM3 until 5:00pm.

*A reminder about the Dress Code.  The Visalia Unified School District Student Conduct Code for grades 7-12 reads as follows:  Clothes shall be worn as intended and be sufficient to conceal undergarments which shall be worn and covered at all times.  See-through or fish-net fabrics, halter tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, off-the shoulder and low-cut tops are not acceptable.  Other types of dress that expose bare midriffs or cleavage are prohibited.  Basketball jersey style tank tops with scooped front, back and armholes are only allowed if worn with a T-shirt with sleeves.  Shirts with cut-off sleeves are not allowed. Hoodies, beanies, or any head gear may not be worn within the classroom.  Cell phones must be turned off and out of sight.


Sports ANNOUNCEMENTS


The Girls Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Woodrow in their final home game Wednesday 25-23, 25-20.  Leading the way was great hitting from Amber Dresp and Aubrie Cardona, and great setting from Haley Wells and Hazel Green.  Great job ladies.  Their next game will be at Valley Oak on Monday.
