STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS


The front office is not able to accept any item at this time for students.  Please make sure that your student has what they need, before coming to school.  Thank you for your understanding.

* Dress Code Reminder
As the weather continues to warm, here is a reminder about the Dress Code.  The Visalia Unified School District Student Conduct Code for grades 7-12 reads as follows:  Clothes shall be worn as intended and be sufficient to conceal undergarments which shall be worn and covered at all times.  See-through or fish-net fabrics, halter tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, off-the shoulder and low-cut tops are not acceptable.  Other types of dress that expose bare midriffs or cleavage are prohibited.  Basketball jersey style tank tops with scooped front, back and armholes are only allowed if worn with a T-shirt with sleeves.  Shirts with cut-off sleeves are not allowed. Hoodies, beanies, or any head gear may not be worn within the classroom.  Cell phones must be turned off and out of sight.

DRESS UP WEEK

Join us this week for our Dress Up Days! Today April 20th Dress in BLACK! Wednesday April 21st Dress in PINK or PURPLE! Thursday April 22nd Dress in BLUE! And Friday April 23rd Dress in GREEN to show your La Joya spirit!


Grab-N-Go Meals

5 day Grab and Go meal pack distribution will be on Wednesdays - 2 serving times 10:30 to 12:00 and 5:00 to 6:30, in the front parking lot.

Daily meals

Daily meals will be handed out at release times on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 11:02 and 3:07 at:
Gate #1 7th grade by front office
Gate #2 8th grade by the bike rack.
