 STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS


Finals Schedule

Students will take finals June 1st and 3rd and all students will be on site.  We will be doing a regular schedule those days (no special finals schedule).  On June 4th, ONLY 7th graders will be required to Zoom into their classes.  NO students will be on site on the 4th due to drive up promotion.  All 7th graders will Zoom into classes during the morning sessions (both A and B track kids).


Attention Students

The last day to redeem PRIDE points will be May 27, Thur. Final pick up for the year is Friday.

Library News

Attention 8th graders, if you still have a 7th grade history book from last year you must return them to the library as soon as possible.  They are green and say IMPACT World History and Geography.  If you are a distance learner and have one of these books you may turn them in during the drive through drop off on Wednesday, May 26, with any other textbooks, novels or library books you have.

The only textbooks that need to be returned that were checked out this year, are hardback Spanish and Integrated Math 1 from both Mrs. Cerecedo and Mr. Harrell's classes.

All library books are due by Wednesday, May 26th.  Present Learners turn them into the library drop box.


Attention Distance Learners and parents.  On Wednesday May 26th there will be a drive through drop off of materials from 8:00 a.m. - 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.


This will include:
Hardback textbooks
Novels
Library Books
Chromebooks with white keys/keyboards and it's charger

Cars will enter the bus lane on La Vida and exit on Crenshaw.


Orchestra News

There will be a short and sweet Orchestra Concert outside on Thursday, May 27th at 6:30pm!

Safety

Remember to walk your bike off campus and do not ride your bike on the sidewalk, or into traffic, your safety is important.  Please remember to only use the crosswalks when crossing the street, and make sure that you look both ways before crossing.


Yearbooks

Yearbooks will be distributed next Friday May 28th, during 7th period classes.
If you are a distance learner who purchased a yearbook, you will receive a phone call this week letting you know when you can come to campus to pick up your yearbook.
If you did not preorder a yearbook and would like to purchase a yearbook, bring $45 cash to school on Friday May 28th. When both A track & B track are dismissed, there will be a booth selling yearbooks.


Grab-N-Go Meals

5 day Grab and Go meal pack distribution will be on Wednesdays - 2 serving times 10:30 to 12:00 and 5:00 to 6:30, in the front parking lot.


Daily meals

Daily meals will be handed out at release times on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 11:02 and 3:07 at:
Gate #1 7th grade by front office
Gate #2 8th grade by the bike rack.


Memorial Day

There will be no school on Monday, May 31st in observance of Memorial Day.
