"It's Cool to Go to School III"

Ø  The high school attendance incentive program-"It's Cool to Go to School"-is back!  Any student with PERFECT attendance this year is automatically entered into the drawing for a new Nissan Versa, courtesy of the Groppetti Automotive Family.  There are two ways to achieve PERFECT attendance this year; please visit your Attendance Office for contest rules.

1. Are you interested in being in ASB? If so, stop by K5 and pick up an application. Reminder that ASB and Class officer applications are due on April 18th, and applications for the class are due April 24th.

2. Need help in your classes? Come to PM Tutorial. We have tutors specialize in all levels of Math, English, Science, Social Science, and Spanish. Our tutors are ready to help!

Ø  Have questions concerning College or Careers? Come and visit you College and Career Ambassador at the library before and after school.

Ø  Interested in joining a club? Come to S-11 and find out about the various opportunities

3. Hey future link leaders! Applications for next year are now available in the front office and in K-7. Swing by before, at lunch or after school to pick up an application! They are due no later than April 21st!

4. If you would prefer to take History online for summer school, instead of regular summer school, you must sign up in the counseling office. Spots are limited; it is first come first serve.

SPORTS BULLETIN

April 18

Congratulations to the Varsity softball team who finished as the Tournament Champions in the small schools division of the Tulare Easter Tournament.  The Lady Pioneers defeated Sierra HS in the Championship game and defeated Granite Hills, Sierra Pacific and Minarets to finish the tournament a perfect 4-0, scoring more than 10 runs in each game.  Junior Kaitlyn Coffman, was named tournament MVP and senior Cortni Cunningham was named to the all-tournament team.

Congratulations to Jose Cisneros for being selected to the City/County Basketball All-Star game in Fresno. The game will be held June 24 at Fresno City College.

Attention all baseball players, reminder about luncheon with Visalia Rawhide players on Monday, April 24 in the PE classroom.  Lunch will be served.

Tennis and softball have been canceled for today.  Tennis rescheduled for tomorrow, April 19 and softball rescheduled for Monday, April 24.

Teachers, there are no early outs for today.   For tomorrow, April 19, please excuse the Frosh and JV baseball teams at 2:15, the bus will leave for Lemoore at 2:30, the boys tennis team at 2:45 for home match vs. Lemoore, the varsity softball team at 2:45, you are on your own to Redwood, and the track team at 2:45 for home meet vs. Hanford West.  There are no early outs for JV softball you are on your own to Redwood for 6:00 game.  There are no early outs for varsity baseball, the suburban's and van will leave at 4:00 for Lemoore.  Thank you and good luck to all our student-athletes.
