1. Do you want to get into Home Games for Free? And get major discounts on dance tickets? Buy an ASB sticker for $30 and save money. ASB stickers are now being sold in the Finance office. They will be sold all year long.

2. Attention Mt. Whitney Students!! The XL program offers a free snack and a variety of clubs. There is tutoring, Skills Club, Mock Trial, 3D-Printing, Weightlifting, Outdoors Club, Ag Science, Activities Club, Media Arts, Brazilian Jui-Jutsu, and Leadership Club. To find out more about these clubs come to Rm. S11!!

3. Step-Up is collecting donation items for cancer patients.  We are accepting donations such as beanies, socks, stuffed animals, and monetary funds. The collection will run from January 9th-April 19th. We will have a donation bin set up in the front office, Room B-204, and a collection table in the quad on Thursdays during lunch.  Please come by room B-204 for additional questions or information.
4. THIS IS IT AND IT'S GOING TO BE GREAT!! Tuesday, January 30th through February 2nd will be our last on campus yearbook sale. February 2nd will be the LAST DAY for a GUARANTEED purchase of the yearbook.  The price is $85 and $5 more if they want your name on it. Come to Room B-207 before school or at lunch to ensure you won't go without one of these lifelong keepsakes.

5.The Battle of the Classes Rally is right around the corner, and we are looking for people to participate in class dances and games. If you are interested in being a part of your class dance come to Amaral on January 30 during lunch, for an informational meeting.   Also, if you want to represent your class during the Rally, and have the stomach to play fear factor type games, please see Ms. Shipley in k-5

6. Are you interested in Being a part of ASB for the 2018-2019 school year? Come to the information meeting Tuesday February 20th at lunch, in K-5, to pick up an application, and to see what ASB is all about.

7. Report cards should be arriving any day now.  Did you earn good grades in challenging courses?  If so, you may qualify for membership in CSF, California Scholarship Federation. CSF rush week is coming February 5th -9th so come by I-9 or the Counseling Office to pick up an application soon.

1.     Link Crew Leaders! There will be a meeting on Tuesday, January 30th at 12:45 in K7. Bring your lunch and a friend! We will be discussing fundraisers, lunchtime activities, and recruiting new leaders for next school year.

1.   Attention Seniors:  Grad Nite 2018 is coming!!!
It's time to save the date and your money for Grad Nite 2018.  Grad Nite is scheduled for Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  Tickets go on sale Feb. 1st thru Feb. 5th, 2018 (Thursday thru Monday) each day before school AND after school in the Library.  The ticket price is $179 and the number of tickets is limited.  It is very important to get cleared through the library in order to purchase your ticket.

2.    Seniors who have missed your campus FAFSA application workshop, just a reminder that we will be hosting the COS Financial Aid Office for a FAFSA/Dream Act Application Workshop.  It will take place on Thursday, January 25th at 6:00pm, in the board room, at the district office.    Students do not have to RSVP, but they must bring the following:

Social Security Card (a copy of card is okay)

Driver's License or State ID (only if you have)

Alien Registration Number (if you are not a citizen)

YOUR 2015 Federal Income Tax Return Forms, W-2's, or last check stub you received in 2015. If you had more than one job then bring the last check stub received for each job (only if you worked)

PARENT(s) 2015 Federal Income Tax Return Forms, W-2's, or last check stub they received in 2015. If they had more than one job then bring the last check stub received for each job

YOUR 2015 bank statements and investment records (only if you have)
