1. Are you interested in becoming more involved, and joining a club? Come out to the quad TODAY during lunch, for our annual club rush.

2. Academy of Health Science students should stop by room H-5 and see Mr. Perrotta if they have any questions regarding their schedule and the Academy, especially if you are not enrolled in an Academy elective this year

3. Landed a job and need a work permit?  Come to the front office and pick up an application with Mrs. Reyes

4. Juniors and Seniors- We are in need of Scicon counselors, If you are interested and want more information, please see Ms. Herrera in the counseling office (L-2).

5. YEARBOOKS FOR SALE: Yearbooks will be on sale this Wednesday through Friday in Room B-207 before school and at lunch. The price is $85 and goes up after August 31st so GET YOURS NOW!! If you are paying with a credit card, go to the library first otherwise come to Room B-207. You can also purchase one online at Jostens.com. You know you're going to want one so get it now and save!!

6. Freshmen elections are TODAY during lunch.  ASB will have a table with Chromebooks for them to vote during lunch.  Only Freshmen are allowed to participate in the vote.   ASB will send a follow-up email with the candidates.

7. Retake Picture day is October 2nd from 8:00am- 12:00pm in the Visitors Team Room.  This is for students who missed Freshman Orientation, Pioneer Day, or Make Up Picture Day.  If you are retaking your picture, you will only be able to if you turn in your picture packet to the photographer.

8. All Juniors- on Wednesday, September 11th; Keith Guthrie from Jostens will conduct a Junior Class presentation in the gym from 12-12:30pm.  The presentation will be on how to order class rings and letter jackets.  Orders can be placed on Wednesday, September 18th during lunch in the quad.

Club Notes

1.     Attention current CSF members:  Ballots are now available to vote for this year's officers.  Please stop by I-9 this week only to cast your vote.  You will receive one service point for voting.

2.     CSF club membership rush week is coming September 3rd-6th.  This will be your only opportunity for membership this semester.  So, hunt down your report card from last semester, get an application from I-9, find $5 for dues and come to I-9 before school or at lunch Sept.3-6 and sign up

3.     CSF juniors and seniors:  If you are in need of service points, sign up to work during CSF membership rush next week.  One point earned for each slot worked.  See Miss Domena in I-9 to sign up.

4.     Attention Mt. Whitney FFA Members:  TOMORROW, there will be a Welcome Back BBQ held in the Ag Department between Mrs. Cardoza and Mr. Patrick's shops. We hope to see you there!

1.      SIGN UP FOR SENIOR PICTURES NOW!! Your senior picture MUST be taken by Essence Photography for it to appear in the yearbook. They will be on our campus all day September 4th and for just a couple of hours in the morning on September 5th. Sign up in Room B-207 ASAP for an appointment. The on campus picture is FREE. You can also call them for an appointment at their studio and there is a fee charged for a studio sitting. They can be reached at 280-2388. Let's get our entire senior class in the yearbook!
