Attention Bike Riders:  please lock your bikes each day INSIDE the bike rack.  Please do not park them on the outside of the bike rack area.  Thank you.



?  Attention Students:

?  Students who arrive to school after the tardy bell 1st period and the gate is locked will be assigned one day lunch detention that day in B24.  IDs will be collected in the office.  When the student goes to detention that day, the ID will be returned to them at the end of the detention.   Also, ALL students who are not in the gate when the tardy bell rings 5th period will have their off campus privileges revoked for one week. Student IDs will be collected at the gate and returned after school.

3. Mr. Perrotta's Biotechnology classes are raising money through the Living Water World Missions charity to provide clean drinking water for villages in Guatemala. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, please stop by room H-5 to contribute. No amount is too large or small. If we can raise $4500, we will provide clean drinking water for an entire village of Guatemalans. Thank you for considering this!
4. Junior and Senior boys who need help renting a tuxedo for Prom, please see Mrs. Araiza for more information.
5.  Students - friendly reminder to please continue to pick up trash after breakfast and lunch.  Show your MW Pride by keeping our campus clean.

6. Thank you Mt. Whitney! Our original order of yearbooks has sold out. If Jostens prints any extra books (and they usually do) they will be sold for $100 according to your number on a waiting list that has been started in Room B-207. If you want a chance at getting a yearbook, get to Room B-207 ASAP to get your name on the list.
7. Attention Athletes!  NOW is the time to register for the SPORT PHYSICAL CLINIC on Wednesday, May 8th in the MW Gym.   You can pick up forms in the Nurse's Office or Attendance Office.  Please return the completed forms and $2.00 to the Nurse by Friday May 3rd.  No late registrations will be taken.

Club Notes





1.    The GSA Club will meet in J-4 for the rest of the semester.  Newcomers are welcome.



2.   The Intersectional Feminist Club meets every Monday at lunch in K7. Join us and bring a friend!


3.   Come join Hip-Hop Club after school Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We have a new Choreographer!  Everyone is Welcome!! Come out and have fun with us!

1.     Seniors-Come by the counseling office during lunch or before/after school to sign up for college visits.



2.    Seniors - the Fallen Memorial Scholarship essay is due Monday May 29th at 1:30 pm. If you have a parent or grandparent that served in the military you may be eligible. This scholarship is valued at $1,000. Please see Ms. Bravo or Ms. Herrera in the Counseling Office for more details.

*       Identify as patriotic

*       1 page essay max - see prompt below

*       What does patriotism mean to you?
