1. Landed a job and need a work permit?  Come to the front office and pick up an application with Mrs. Reyes

2. Juniors and Seniors- We are in need of Scicon counselors, If you are interested and want more information, please see Ms. Herrera in the counseling office (L-2).

3. Retake Picture day is October 2nd from 8:00am- 12:00pm in the Visitors Team Room.  This is for students who missed Freshman Orientation, Pioneer Day, or Make Up Picture Day.  If you are retaking your picture, you will only be able to if you turn in your picture packet to the photographer.

4. All Juniors- TODAY; Keith Guthrie from Jostens will conduct a Junior Class Rings and Letter Jackets presentation in the gym from 12-12:30pm.  Orders can be placed on Wednesday, September 18th during lunch in the quad.

5. If you are interested in joining the Military or learning leadership skills then come join the California Cadet Corps. The first meeting will take place TODAY, in room S-14 (behind the cafeteria). The meetings start at 3:30pm to 5:00pm (1530 to 1700). Master Sergeant Cervantes and the rest of the Cadet Corps hopes to see you there.
6. Juniors and Seniors: Montana Technology College will be on campus TODAY during 2nd period in the library. If you are interested in attending, please see Ms. Herrera in the counseling office.
7. Attention Juniors and Seniors: Are you interested in developing Leadership Skills? Could you use Paid Summer Work Experience? #LEAD is a free college and career readiness program that has wonderful opportunities for you! Meet youth from other Visalia schools, embark on University field trips, and get paid to test out a future career! Space is limited. If interested in applying please pick up an application, or call Amanda Olguin, CSET Youth Coordinator, for more information at 713-5148

Club Notes

1.     Attention Academy of Health Science Students! TODAY during Lunch there will be a HOSA Recruitment meeting in H-5. If you are interested in participating in the Academy's HOSA events this year please make sure you attend!

2.     Anime Club meeting will be every Thursday in Rm. H4 during lunch.

3.     Calling all environmentalists:  Earth Aid will hold its first meeting this Thursday, Sept. 12th, during lunch in room I-9.  Bring your lunch and join us as we make plans for our highway clean-up, vote for our Homecoming Queen candidate, set up our recyclables collecting schedule and get to know each other.  Join us THURSDAY.

4.     The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) club will hold our first meeting this Friday, Sept. 13th (Friday the 13th) during lunch in I-9.  We will introduce our officers, talk about the Science Bowl and Science Olympiad competitions, hold a quick creative competition and vote for our Homecoming queen candidate. All students are welcome to join us.

5.     Calling all Key Clubbers!  Join us TODAY at 12:50 for our 1st meeting of the year.  We will meet the new officers, vote for our Homecoming Queen nomination, and discuss volunteer opportunities.  See you there!!

6.     CSF current members:  Please stop by room I-9 and vote for our homecoming queen candidate.  Voting will only be available today (Thursday) and tomorrow.
