1. Landed a job and need a work permit?  Come to the front office and pick up an application with Mrs. Reyes

2. Juniors and Seniors- We are in need of Scicon counselors, If you are interested and want more information, please see Ms. Herrera in the counseling office (L-2).

3. Retake Picture day is October 2nd from 8:00am- 12:00pm in the Visitors Team Room.  This is for students who missed Freshman Orientation, Pioneer Day, or Make Up Picture Day.  If you are retaking your picture, you will only be able to if you turn in your picture packet to the photographer.

4. Attention Juniors and Seniors: Are you interested in developing Leadership Skills? Could you use Paid Summer Work Experience? #LEAD is a free college and career readiness program that has wonderful opportunities for you! Meet youth from other Visalia schools, embark on University field trips, and get paid to test out a future career! Space is limited. If interested in applying please pick up an application, or call Amanda Olguin, CSET Youth Coordinator, for more information at 713-5148
5. MW Bands & Color Guard Annual Tri Tip Dinner is on Sept. 30th/  Drive thru pick up only 5-7pm @ Grace Lutheran Church. Tickets on sale now from Band and Color Guard, Band Boosters and/or Ms. Bettencourt
6.  Cadet Corps meeting for both Cadets and Club members, in S-14 TODAY @ lunch time.
7. It's time to nominate our 2019-2020 Senior Pacesetters. Nomination forms are available for both seniors and faculty in B-207 and your English and Civics/Econ Classes. You can nominate up to 4 people aside from yourself. Forms are due by Thursday, September 26, to either room B-207.
8.  Hey, want to be an anchor for the Pioneer Report?  Come to Rm. B-204 to pick up script for auditions being help October 1st during lunch.
9. Show your school sport and dress up during Homecoming week- Sept.30th -Oct.4th. The theme this year is "There's No Place Like Homecoming" and the dress up days are as follows:

Monday- Midwest Monday (country, overalls, favorite character)

Tuesday- Twister Tuesday, Wacky Day (Fashion Disaster)

Wednesday- Which Witch is Which? (Twin Day)

Thursday- Follow the TikTok Road! (VSCO girl, E-Boy)

Friday- There's a STORM Coming!  (Wear MW Spirit!!!)

10. The Moonlight Harvest Dance will take place on Saturday October 5, at our very own gym from 8-11pm. Tickets will be on sale in the Library starting Sept.30th thru October 4th. Single tickets will be sold and they are $15 with an asb sticker, $25 w/out asb sticker and $45 at the door. You may use Credit/Debit/Cash/Check.  Your fines must be cleared, and you must obtain a clearance from our Librarian. Current School ID's are required to purchase a ticket. Tickets will be sold ONLY before school, lunch, and afterschool. Ticket sales end Friday the 4th at 3:45 pm. No exceptions!  Also, if you need to obtain a guest pass, you may pick up a form in the front office.

1.     SENIORS, WE NEED YOU! You have all been sent an invitation to join our Yearbook Google Classroom which we will use for communicating with just seniors. Check it out NOW and use it to vote on this year's Senior Superlatives. Who's the Most Likely to Glow Up? You tell us! Votes will be accepted this Friday. If you are having trouble getting to our Google Classroom, come to Room B-207 and we will help you work it out.
