1. Landed a job and need a work permit?  Come to the front office and pick up an application with Mrs. Reyes

2. Interested in the Military?  Want to start talking to a recruiter about your future?  Before you decide to venture off into a path that will lead you to great success come by S14 and talk with Master Sergeant Cervantes.  I will do my best to answer as many questions as possible about the military and a military life.  Whether you want to serve your country or gain educational benefits, come by and ask as many questions as possible.  If you are not sure about what questions to ask a potential recruiter, this is the place to find your answers.
3. Student replacement IDs are $10.  Please fill out a half sheet in the Finance Center and pay Ms. Chavez.

5. Students, Please help us keep the school clean by throwing away all trash in the trash cans.  Let's show our Pioneer Pride.

6. If you know anyone who is vandalizing our restrooms, please report any information to the front office.  Reports will remain confidential.

7. Pioneers! Mt. Whitney High School is offering current Juniors and Seniors the opportunity to take the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Test on November 17. This test is free and it is a great way to identify skill strengths and explore career ideas! 8. Attention AP students, the AP store is open for you to pay for your AP exam.  If you do not pay by the November 8th deadline, an AP exam will not be ordered for you and you will not be able to test in May.  Please see Ms. Violet Chavez in the finance office.  For questions about AP ordering and registration, please reach out to Mrs. Hernandez in the counseling office.

9.  XL will be having all tutoring in the library from now on. For our morning, it will run 7am-8am Tuesday thru Friday. After-school hours 3:30pm to 5:30pm, if you need tutoring please go to the Library.

10. Looking to spend time playing an awesome game with friends? Dungeons and Dragons club is looking for more members. Please come to the Library Wednesday or Thursday at 3:30 to sign up
11. XL has started Art Studio class. Join us to learn how draw and paint, or just create your own pieces of art after-school on Tuesday and Thursday in room S-11
12. Join XL to help usher in the Holiday spirit during our November events:
Every Friday: Harry Potter Movies starting the series with Sorcerer's Stone (popcorn will be provided.) November 10th: Fall Paint Night: Come paint your own painting that showcases the beauty of the Fall Season. November 17th: Thanksgiving Raffle - Win prizes to kick of the Thanksgiving break

1.               GSA club is meeting this week on Thursday in J6. Next week we will meet on Tuesday and continue that alternating schedule.

2.               Are you interested in E-Sports? Do you want to know what E-Sports is? Stop by J6 for information, and join the Remind @mwesport for updates about practices and tournaments. Practice for the Spring season starts soon!

3.               Key Club will be meeting at lunch in J-12 on TODAY.  The meeting will begin at 1:00.  Grab your lunch and come join us.  It is never too late to join Key Club!
