1. Landed a job and need a work permit?  Come to the front office and pick up an application with Mrs. Reyes

2. Student replacement IDs are $10.  Please fill out a half sheet in the Finance Center and pay Ms. Chavez. Then please pick up your ID the next day from Mrs. Reyes in the front office
3. Attention Students: Do you know someone or have you watched vandalism of restrooms?  Please help us and inform the main office or administration.
4. Yearbook is accepting applications for next year's yearbook staff.  If you are interested in joining this great opportunity, please apply using the google form that was sent out in Schoology.
5.  Hello Students- Please show your Pioneer Pride by throwing away your trash in a trash can.  We have over 100 trash cans for your use.  We ask you to throw away your food after lunch also.  Please keep Us keep our school clean. Thank you from the Grounds Workers
6. Winter Formal pictures are in!  Please see Mrs. Reyes in the front office to pick up your pictures before school, during lunch, or after school
7. Wanna learn how to draw anime? Join the Animation class Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school in room S-11.  Need help with your homework? The library is open and offering tutoring.  Starting at 7am Tuesday thru Friday and also after-school, at 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday. Join the Hip Hop dance club meeting Monday and Wednesday after school in the dance room.
8. The Mt. Whitney Dance Program hasn't had an in-person dance show since 2019 and they are COMING IN HOT!  Tickets for sale in the MW Main Office for $10.  Dance Show dates are March 25 & 26 at LJ Williams Theater.
9. Congratulations to the Winter Drumline on their first place win this weekend at Sierra Pacific!
10. Students, it is time for ASB elections! We have 12 positions open for the 2022-2023 school year! Here's what you need to know: Starting today you can pick up election packets from Ms. Taylor in the ASB room or in the front office with Ms. Reyes! Election packets need to be turned in by this Friday, March 11th. Please turn into Ms. Taylor or Ms. Reyes in the front office. Campaigns begin next week! We look forward to finding our new leaders for next year!

11. Spring Fling will be held outside at Mt. Whitney High School on Saturday, April 2nd. The theme this year is Sports, "GAME ON". Tickets will be sold in the library starting Tuesday, March 29th through Friday, April 1st! Tickets are $10 with ASB sticker, $20 without, and $40 at the door! Please email Ms. Taylor with any Spring Fling Questions.

12. Wanting to be in one of our ASB classes for next year? ASB applications are open from now until April 22nd. Pick up a packet from Ms. Taylor in the Amaral (ASB room). Interview dates and times are to be determined for the first week of May!
13.  XL is showing Princess Monoke after school on Friday 3/11/22 in room S11. Popcorn will be available.
14. To kick off the Spring Season, there will be a Paint Night in room S11 after school on Wednesday March 23rd.

15.  Loteria Night on March 25th in room S11. Come win prizes!!!!!

16.  Juniors and Seniors- We are looking for 2 female Scicon Counselors for April 4th-7th with Washington Elementary. We are looking for individuals with good academic standing, no Fs, a positive role model in every sense of the word, and the ability to provide safe social environment to students at all times.  If this is You, please see Mrs. Reyes for an application and further details - before school, during lunch, or after school.
