1. Landed a job and need a work permit?  Come to the front office and pick up an application with Mrs. Reyes

2. Student replacement IDs are $10.  Please fill out a half sheet in the Finance Center and pay Ms. Chavez. Then please pick up your ID the next day from Mrs. Reyes in the front office
3. Yearbook staff will be selling yearbooks at lunch on Tuesday and Thursday this week.  This is the last week to purchase your yearbook for $95 before the yearbooks are delivered next week.  Students, you will be able to pick up your yearbook on Wednesday, May 18th after school.  There are less than 50 left.  Get them before they're gone.  To purchase your yearbook at lunch, bring cash or check to the table that is setup in the quad.
4. Yearbook is accepting applications for next year's yearbook staff.  If you are interested in joining this great opportunity, please apply using the google form that was sent out in Schoology.
5. Tutoring is offered before and after school in the library. IT IS FREE for all students. If you need help with your homework, please go to the library Tuesday thru Friday at 7am OR Go to the library after school to get the help you need.
6. Library Challenge for May- Clear your account of all library, textbook & equipment!  You automatically will be entered into the drawing for 1 of 2 gift cards.  This month we will be featuring two $25.00 gift cards (Applebees and Buffalo Wild Wings).  The deadline is May 27th to have everything in.  Even SENIORS still qualify.  Winners- come with their student ID to claim the gift card June 1st in the library!  Thank you for a wonderful year of support. From Mrs. Wheaton and Mrs. Martinez
7. The choir program would like to invite everyone to their Spring Show "Movie Night" on TODAY and TOMORROW at 7 pm.  You'll hear from movies, such as: The Greatest Showman, Teen Beach Movie, La La Land, Sing, and Sing.  Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults.  We look forward to seeing you there!
8. Make sure to pick up your yearbook TOMORROW at Oak Day starting at 3:30pm.  To pick up your yearbook, you will need a picture ID so make sure to bring one.  If you still need to purchase a yearbook, you can bring $95 in cash to B-207 this week or to Oak Day on Wednesday.  There are only a few left.  We will also have yearbook covers and autograph pages on sale for $3 and $2 respectively.  In addition, there will be waters on sale and we will provide pens for those who want to stay around campus and sign yearbooks.  Excited to see you there!

Club Note

  1.  Attention upcoming sophomores, juniors and seniors! Are you interested in joining Link Crew for the 22-23 school year? Link Crew is a club that will give you an opportunity to build relationships with incoming freshmen. Link crew applications are now available in J-4 and the counseling office. Applications are due to Mr. Contreras in J- 4 on May 6. There will be an info meeting on May 11 at lunch in J-4.

  1.  E-Sports team has open practice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  If you have questions, please see Mrs. Russell in J-6

  1.  Reminder- The MW FFA Awards Banquet is today at 6pm.  Doors will open at 5:45pm to the public. We hope to see you all there to celebrate!

  1.  If you have not ordered your cap and gown, please do so at josten.com or 1-800-jostens and your order will be delivered to the front office.

  1.  Seniors! Need help completing your COS priority class registration and creating your COS class schedule? Meet with our XL CCA after-school in the library! Every day from 2 to 5pm!

  1.  Looking for all Class of 2022 Seniors who attended Royal Oaks. Please come let us honor you! Meet in the front office at Royal Oaks on May 31st at 10:30 AM and don't forget to wear your caps

  1.  Seniors who attended Ridgeview Middle School- On May 23rd from 7:30am-8:30am, please join Ridgeview in the MRP for a lite breakfast and visit with your favorite Ridgeview teachers.  Ridgeview is celebrating their first graduating class!

  1.  YOU MUST GET YOUR CLEARANCE FORM FROM THE LIBRARY IN ORDER TO ENTER INTO GRADUATION PRACTICE! IF YOU ARRIVE THE MORNING OF PRACTICE WITHOUT IT, YOU WILL BE SENT BACK TO SCHOOL TO GET ONE.   1.  Attention Seniors Who Attended Ridgeview!  A new scholarship was added late this year. Our forms were updated to include Scholarship #26 for a graduating senior who attended Ridgeview Middle School. If you have already submitted your application and qualify for this scholarship, please call Laura Pace at (559) 972-6976 or email scholarships at visaliaedfoundation.org<mailto:scholarships at visaliaedfoundation.org> and we can modify your application to include this if you are eligible.

  1.  Juniors - This summer, COS will be offering the Jump Start Internship for students interested in industrial careers.  From July 5th - July 28th, students who are interested in industrial careers, will have training in electrical, OSHA safety, exposure to industrial technology careers, industry tours of local manufacturers, and more.  Upon completion of the internship, students will receive $1,500. High School juniors (incoming seniors) are encouraged to apply for the internship.
