BULLETIN

TODAY:

1.       Come join M.E.Ch.A. MEETING TODAY during lunch in the upstairs library.  We will be discussing homecoming and other future events like fundraising and activities.  All are welcome!

2.       Greeting Rangers, your true, blue, just for you one and only COLORING CLUB is reconvening for the year TODAY in Room 103 at lunch.  We'll elect some officers, talk about Homecoming and do a little coloring (of course).  If you like to color or just need to relax come join us.  We don't care if you color in the lines as long as you have a good time.

3.       A UCLA representative will be on campus TODAY during 3rd period in the upstairs library.  Sign up in the Counseling Office.

4.       Attention current "SOCIEDAD HONORARIA HISPANICA" members.  Our first MEETING of the school year will be TODAY at lunch in Room 40, upstairs in the Academic Building.  Come meet the officers and bring your ideas for fall semester activities.

5.       HIP HOP MEETING at lunch TODAY in the Dance Room.

6.       PACIFIC NORTHWEST COLLEGE OF ART will be on campus TODAY during 2nd period upstairs library.
SPORTS TODAY/EARLY RELEASES:
Girls Golf @ El Diamante 2:00 p.m./Early Release 11:30 a.m.
Football vs. Tulare Western - Frosh 5:00 p.m.
NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

1.       CAL GRANT OPT OUT:  With the implementation of Assembly Bill 2160, California public high schools are required to submit a Cal Grant high school Grade Point Average (GPA) for all graduating seniors, unless the student or parent has opted out of the submission process.  If you do not want Redwood High School to report a GPA, please pick up the Opt Out Form in the Counseling Office before October 1st.

2.       STUDENTS:  If you lose your student body card it will cost $10 to replace.  If you had an ASB STICKER on the card it will cost you an additional $30 to replace sticker.

3.       UNIVERSITY OF THE PACIFIC   Wednesday September 20th during 3rd period upstairs library.  Sign-ups are in the Counseling Office.

4.       YOUTH LEADERSHIP - STEPUP leadership and mentoring program.  Want the opportunity to...visit college campuses, get a job, and get involved.  Apply today for the opportunity to make a difference in your community.  Application deadline is October 6th. PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.       A AZUSA PACIFIC COLLEGE representative will be on campus Friday September 15th during 6th period in the upstairs library.  Sign-ups will be in the counseling office.

2.       HELLO RANGERS, please make sure to turn in your LUNCH APPLICATIONS before September 21st as this is the day that all applications from last year will expire and all students that haven't turned in one will go to a paid status.

3.       Coming Soon!  The ANNUAL IMPROV SHOW in Rotary Theater on September 23rd at 7:00 p.m.  Come see RHS students working with students from the other high schools in order to bring you a night of laughs!  Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in the Drama Room from Mrs. Galvan.  Tickets will be $8 at the door!

4.       Calling all of you engineers, mechanical and civil and automotive, this club is the one for you.  The only ROBOTICS CLUB in the district is open to all breathing bodies that have a core temperature above 32 degrees Celsius.  When?  Tuesday's after school in our cafeteria 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.  The only criteria to join?  Being hungry.  Now, honestly, how hard is that for someone of your BMR?
