TODAY:

1.       SENIORS:  SENIOR BREAKFAST TODAY at 7:00 a.m. in the Cafeteria.  MANDATORY Graduation Practice TODAY at 8:00 a.m. in the bowl.  Redwood Graduation TONIGHT at 7:30 p.m. in the Mineral King Bowl.

2.       GRADUATION 2018 REMINDERS:  Seniors cannot bring cellphones, purses, and bags to the graduation ceremony.  Graduation caps cannot be altered or decorated.  Only CSF gold cords, C&C blue cords, and Board award medals, and Principal award medals may be worn during the ceremony.  Seniors need to be in the gym at 6:30 p.m.  The Graduation Ceremony will start at 7:30 p.m.; gates open at 6:00 p.m., Giddings Street gates.  Balloons are not allowed in the Mineral King Bowl.

3.       Are you feeling stressed about finals and projects? Do you need a study break? Then stop by in the library from 12pm-1pm to pet a furry four-legged friend! Pro-MED Program is hosting Paws 4 Healing, a therapy dog organization TODAY and May 30th! Stop by to de-stress... These puppers are happy to put a smile on your face!

4.       MANDATORY BOYS CROSS COUNTRY MEETING TODAY on the track, right after school.  Important information will be handed out.
SPORTS TODAY/EARLY RELEASES:
NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

1.    FINALS SCHEDULE FOR FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORE AND JUNIORS:  May 30th, May 31st and June 1st.  LAST DAY OF SCHOOL IS June 1st.
PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.      ATTENTION ALL INTERESTED PERCUSSIONISTS:  The Redwood Ranger Marching Band and Color Guard will host a Technique & Fundamentals Clinic with Guest Clinicians For Battery and Front Ens Returning Members and Incoming Freshman Wednesday, May 30 FRONT ENS MALLET PLAYERS ONLY Front Ensemble/Mallets-Redwood High School Thursday, May 31: Battery-College of the Sequoias Band Room Wednesday, May 30 from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm at Redwood High School All Interested Mallet, keyboard, piano, and auxiliary percussion members need to attend this day. Clinic material, music, and technique will be given at this clinic. Students should plan on bringing their own mallets if possible.  Thursday, May 31 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the College of the Sequoias Band Room. All Interested battery: snare, tenors, bass drum members need to attend this day. All interested snare players need to bring a marching snare/harness to this audition/clinic-ask your band director. Students should plan on bringing their own still if possible. 2.       Attention all RHS Band students. Mr. Ray will be on campus Friday, June 1 at 4:00 pm for a student meet and greet as well as the 2018 Marching Band Show Reveal. The meeting will be held in the band room starting at 4:00 pm. This is an important meeting for students and parents and  many aspects of the season will be discussed; including: Mr. Ray's Vision for Redwood,RHS Bands Overview, Shows/competitions, Instrumentation.  Marching Show Music Distribution, Solo opportunities, Staff introductions,Student Expectations.Mr. Ray is excited to meet all returning and incoming students and parents at RHS and is looking forward to a great upcoming year with Redwood High School. There will be a short question/answer session after the meeting for anyone who needs clarification on any points discussed during the presentation.Mr. Ray and the Redwood staff hopes you can join us for this important meeting. 3.       "AP Language and Composition-- Are you signed up for AP Junior English next school year? If so, there is a summer assignment you have to complete by the start of next school year. To access the directions for the summer assignment, go to classroom.google.com> join class> and enter code kncw3g. You will find the directions and any important notifications there. If you have any questions, or would like to pick up a hard copy of the assignment, email Mrs. Moore at smoore at vusd.org<mailto:smoore at vusd.org> OR come by Ranger Hall 203. 4.       Attention all interested and returning GIRLS WATER POLO PLAYERS: practice has started! Come to Room 107 in Ranger Hall for information and practice times.

5.       The PSAT 10 results are in!  Students that took the March 7 PSAT 10 are encouraged to pick up their exam booklet and score report in the Counseling Dept.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Matta.
SENIORS:

1.       SENIORS:  Sign up for FINAL TRANSCRIPTS in the Counseling Office to be mailed to your college.  Please have the address to the admissions office available when signing up.
