1.       ICE BREAKER DANCE will be TONIGHT from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. in the RHS Gym.
SPORTS TODAY/EARLY RELEASES:
NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

1.       The REDWOOD FOOTBALL BOOSTERS is excited to invite you to the Bash Kickoff Dinner. There will be many one of a kind items in our live and silent auctions. Ticket price includes a delicious dinner catered by Four Seasons. Come join us for a night of fun on Saturday August 24th, 6:00 pm, Elks Lodge. Tickets available on Eventbrite.

  1.   REDWOOD DRAMA CLUB meets every Tuesday at lunch in the Drama Room 15 at Sierra Vista.  Hope to see you at our FIRST MEETING on August 20th!
  2.  Auditions for Redwood's Fall Play, UP THE DOWN STAIRCASE, will be held on August 20th at 6:00pm or August 21st at 4 pm, with CALLBACKS being August 22nd at 4 pm. For more information, see Mrs. Galvan in the Drama Room 15.
  3.  DRAMA BOOSTER MEETING AUGUST 26TH, 6:00 pm Drama Room, Sierra Vista. All parents are invited. MEETING is MANDATORY for FALL PLAY PARENTS.

PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.       MOCK TRIAL returners MANDATORY MEETING on Tuesday August 20th at 3:30 p.m. in Room 44.  All members who plan to return to MOCK TRIAL this year must attend.

2.       CLUB FAIR DAY Wednesday August 21st during lunch.

3.       UPDATED:  BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT will be on August 26th from 6-8 p.m.  Students will receive a schedule for that night.

4.       Be a SCICON COUNSELOR!   Come to the Counseling Office to sign up!  First Scicon week is August 26th - August 30th.

5.       GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY will be on campus Thursday August 29th during 2nd period in the Upstairs Library.  Sign up in the Counseling Office.

6.       CSF MEMBERSHIP DRIVE for Spring 2019 grades will be held the week of September 3rd through September 9th.  Bring the following to Room 108 during lunch:  *completed application form (pick up early in Room 108) *official copy of Spring semester report card or a transcript (juniors and seniors) from the office requested 1 week prior to when needed by signing up  *a donation of one hardback book for the Redwood Library and  *$5 to cover the graduation materials fee.  Monday September 9th is the deadline to apply.  Freshmen are not eligible to apply for membership until January 2020 but may attend meetings and activities.  If you have any questions o9r concerns, please email Mrs. Cheatwood at gcheatwood at vusd.org<mailto:gcheatwood at vusd.org> or come by her room.  The first CSF meeting this year will be announced later.  CSF Rangers RocK!!

7.       REDWOOD BOOK DRIVE!  CSF is sponsoring a book drive benefit our fantastic library.  If you have a almost new hardback book, please bring it to Room 108 now through September 9th.  Monday September 9th is the deadline.  Please note that we will not be taking softback covers. 8.       RHS MINI COLLEGE FAIR will be held on Tuesday September 10th during 6th period in the Cafeteria.  Sign up in the Counseling Office.

9.       UNIVERSITY OF REDLANDS will be on campus September 11th during 2nd period in the Upstairs Library.  Sign up in the Counseling Office.

10.   BIOLA UNIVERSITY will be on campus September 13rh during 4th period in the upstairs library.  Sign up in the Counseling Office.
