TODAY:
1. IMPORTANT CSF NEWS: If you will be a junior or senior next year, are currently a 100% CSF MEMBER, have a 4.0 GPA, are active in community projects, attend meetings consistently, and would like to be a CSF officer for 2019-2020, please come by Room 108 and pick up an officer application. These must be completed and turned in at a MANDATORY MEETING TODAY AT LUNCH. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Cheatwood in Room 108.
2. Support GIRLS SOCCER and help give cancer a Red Card. All proceeds benefit American Cancer Society. Join us: TODAY at Mineral King Bowl. JV at 4:30 pm; Varsity at 6 pm. Donate today crowdrise.com/redwoodsoccer
3. Feminist Perspective meets today in room 45! We will be having a guest speaker from ACT for Women and Girls to talk about their upcoming Feminist Leadership Academy! Have questions you've always wanted to ask? Stuck on a Stereotype with only anecdotal evidence to prove your point? While come and find out what it's all about and see how you can develop leadership skills and be engaged in your community!
4. Joseph D'Agostino, Head Football Coach at College of the Sequoias, will be on campus TODAY, during lunch. Seniors, who plan to attend COS this Fall and play football, please come to this informational meeting in the Fitness Center.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:
1. Attention: Boys Swimming starts Thursday (1-24) from 3:30 to 5:15. Any questions, see Coach Fuller rm 36.
2. Intramural basketball in the gym during lunch every Tuesday and Thursday :)
3. 11TH AND 12TH GRADE STUDENTS who are interested in being a SCICON COUNSELOR for the week of February - March 1st, sign up in the Counseling Office.

5. What's up Gamers! RHS eSports is having a fundraiser Saturday January 26th at Panda Express! From 5-9PM roll into Panda at 1933 N. Dinuba Blvd. order, and them know it's for RHS eSports! You can catch the flyer on our Insta @rhs_esports Helps us make sure we remain one of the top 10 Rocket League teams in the nation!
6. STAFF DEVELOPMENT DAY on Monday January 28th; students are released at 1:53 p.m.
7. TRUE RANGERS DOUBLE ASSEMBLY will be in the LJ Williams Theatre on January 28th; bell schedule will be in the bulletin on that date.
8. REGISTRATION PRESENTATION PARENT MEETINGS: Parents of current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students are invite to attend the Registration Presentation Parent Meetings on Tuesday, January 29 in the Redwood Cafeteria. Parents of current 9th and 10th grade students are invited to attend from 5:30-6:15pm. Parents of current 11th grade students are invited to attend from 6:30-7:15pm. Redwood counselors will be present to demonstrate how students will register using the PowerSchool on-line portal.
9. Time is running out for yearbook pre-sales and senior ad sales! Both end on Friday, February 1st. Buy online at Jostens.com or in the Finance Center or Mr. Feehan's room- on campus, we ONLY ACCEPT CASH. Contact Mr. Feehan for more details.
10. CSF Fall Membership Drive will be held the week of February 4th through February 8th 2019. Bring the following to Room 108 during lunch: *completed application form (pick up early in Room 108), *fall semester transcripts provided the week of February 4th FOR ALL STUDENTS in YOUR ENGLISH CLASS *a donation of one hardback book for the Redwood Library, and *$5 fee to cover graduation supplies. Friday February 8, 2019 is the DEADLINE to apply. Freshmen are now eligible to apply for membership with their first semester grades. ALL GRADES WILL RECEIVE TRANSCRIPTS IN THEIR ENGLISH CLASS. If you have any questions or concerns, please email Mrs. Cheatwood at gcheatwood at vusd.org<mailto:gcheatwood at vusd.org> or come to Room 108.
11. ATTENTION TRACK ATHLETES: Track season has officially started. Stay current with updated information on the Track Google classroom for schedules and spirit pack information. For further questions see coach Roebuck.
12. Calling all PC Gamers! RHS eSports is looking to ramp up a new season of gaming. If you are interested in joining our Rocket League, Overwatch, or League of Legends teams come on down and show us what you got! It's not only skill, but teamwork. Join us afterschool upstairs in the library from 3:30-5:30 Mondays and Wednesdays to join, you can join us anytime!
SENIORS:
1. GRAD NITE TICKET SALES: GRAD NITE TICKETS for MAGIC MOUNTAIN will be available for SENIORS to purchase on Wednesday February 20th at 7:30 a.m. for $135 - CASH ONLY! Tickets will be sold in the Redwood Gym. SENIORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON CAMPUS UNTIL 7:00 a.m.! ALL FINES must be cleared through the Finance Center before seniors can purchase a ticket. GRAD NITE is Thursday May 16th. We will be leaving Redwood from the Mineral King Parking Lot to head to Magic Mountain at 7:00 p.m.
2. SENIORS! Your opportunity to contribute to the yearbook is here. Senior Superlative voting is now open; the ballot is waiting for you in your school Gmail. Contact Mr. Feehan if you have questions.

1. Ruiz 4 Kids Scholarship
Amount: Varies Criteria: HS senior, minimum 3.0 gpa, sealed school transcript, essay (instructions on web site), letter of recommendation, one-page resume.
