TODAY:

1.       TODAY, we will be hosting a JUNIOR CLASS MEETING in the Redwood Gym at 12:10pm. Juniors will need to be released from class at 12:05pm to head to the gym.  The purpose of this meeting is to go over the upcoming CAASPP EXAM that we will be proctoring to all Juniors.

2.       DANCE PROGRAM ADS - If you are interested in placing a personal or business ad in the 2019 Dance Program please email Mrs. Bardonnex or Mrs. Lapp.  The due date for the ads is TODAY ebardonnex at vusd.org<mailto:ebardonnex at vusd.org> or mlapp at vusd.org<mailto:mlapp at vusd.org>.

3.       CHIPOTLE NIGHT- Please support our REDWOOD ART PROGRAMS by buying Chipotle on TODAY between 4-8pm. Just tell the cashier it's for REDWOOD!

4.       ABLAZE CLUB: MEETING TODAY at lunch, Room 30. Come order your T-shirt for $8 and $10 with your name added. Also, come and pose for yearbook picture.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

1.       ATTENTION ACADEMY OF LAW AND JUSTICE STUDENTS! Sweatshirts are on sale NOW...but only for a limited time!  Stop by Mr. Adam's room at lunch and order yours for $20 (logo only) or $24 (logo plus grad year on sleeve).  We will be accepting orders today thru Thursday of this week only.

2.       NAVAL ACADEMY ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR will be on campus Friday March 15th during lunch in the upstairs library.  Sign-ups will be in the Counseling Office.

3.       And you thought you'd missed it. Never fear! WRITING ON THE WALLS is extending our deadline for one week only. Entries absolutely must be received by Friday March 8. 4.       Hair/Makeup Night: Are you interested in learning tips and techniques for styling hair and applying make-up? If so, come to our HAIR/MAKEUP NIGHT on Saturday March 9 from 4-6pm (Sierra Vista Room P3), $20 for adults, $15 for students. You will learn tips for using a curling iron, how to contour, eyeliner wings, and much more. You will automatically be entered in a raffle to win a basket of cosmetic goodies! 5.       MR. RANGER WEEK DRESS UP WEEK MARCH 11th - March 16th:  Monday March 11th - Skittles - Class colors (Freshman - Yellow, Sophomores - Green, Juniors - Purple, Seniors - Red).  Tuesday March 12th:  Swedish Fish - Under the Sea/Beach Day Attire; Wednesday March 14th - Milky Way - Outer Space (ex: aliens, planets, stars...); Thursday March 15th - Smarties - Nerd Day; Friday March 16th - Snickers - "you're not you when you're hungry" Be a Ranger! PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.       The annual RHS CAR SHOW is being held on Wednesday March 6th!

2.       AP TESTING REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN.  AP TESTING will take place May 6 - May 17.  To register for an AP Exam, students must complete a registration form and pay for the exam in the Finance Office (cash only) or online at our Ranger Webstore.  Registration forms are in the Counseling Office outside of Ms. Ashford's office and on our school webpage.  The deadline to register is Wednesday March 27th at 3:30 p.m.  The cost is $94 per exam.  If you qualify for free or reduced lunch or meet Federal Income Guidelines, you may qualify for a fee waiver.  All students qualify for a one-time fee waiver for one exam.  Please see Ms. Ashford to apply for other fee waivers.  If you have any questions regarding AP testing, please contact Ms. Ashford.

1.       GRAD NITE is Thursday May 16th.  We will be leaving Redwood from the Mineral King Parking Lot to head to Magic Mountain at 7:00 p.m.
