TODAY:

1.       AP TESTING will be held TODAY thru May 17th.

2.       PROM TICKETS: They are $25 with ASB; $35 without ASB and $55 at the door. Tickets sales begin TODAY thru Friday May 10th; before school, lunch and after school ONLY and we will stop selling on Friday May 10th AFTER LUNCH. Students must have their ID's to purchase tickets. They are single tickets unless they are taking an underclassman. Guest Dance Passes are available in the Finance Office, if taking another student out of the Visalia Unified School District.

3.       DANCE FORCE MOUNTAIN MIKES NIGHT will be TODAY 11:00am-10:00pm.  Flyers available in the DANCE ROOM or at Mountain Mikes.  Dance Force will receive 25% of the proceeds.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.       GIRLS WRESTLING MEETING on Friday May 10th during LUNCH in Room 39 of the academic building. Coach Ramirez will be here to discuss the upcoming season, fundraising, summer workouts, and next season's tournaments.

2.       RED INK proudly presents our fourth annual Poets on The Plaza, an event to celebrate the winners of Writing OnThe Walls. It's happening this Friday May 10th from 5-7 pm on the Ranger Hall Plaza (weather permitting). In case of rain it will be in the cafeteria. We'll be featuring our special guest poet, the newly announced Poet Laureate of Fresno, Marisol Baca. $3.00 student admission, $5.00 general. Everyone, including the general public, is welcome.  Come enjoy a night of creative writing with Red Ink and find out who won.

3.       The OUTDOOR CLUB has some spots available for our May 11th HIKE in Giant Forest. If you're interested in seeing some giant sequoias in the snow, stop by room 106 and pick up information from Mr. McNitt. This is a beginner level hike, so hiking newbies are welcome.

4.       BAND CONCERT on May 14th 7:00 p.m. at the LJ Williams Theater.

5.       SCHOLARSHIP NIGHT is on May 15th at 7:00 p.m. Rotary Theater.

6.      Hey Rangers! Interested in playing in Redwood's first ULTIMATE FRISBEE tournament? Get your team of 5-6 players and sign up with Mrs. Moore in Ranger Hall, Room 203! The winners of the entire tournament get to play the staff and will receive free champion t-shirts! Sign up before May 17th and text @redwoodult to 81010 for more information.

7.       VHSPA Awards is on May 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the LJ Williams Theater.

8.       STUDENT RECOGNITION BBQ is on May 21st during lunch on campus.

9.       SPRING SPORTS RECOGNITON ASSEMBLY is on May 23rd.  Bell schedule will be in bulletin on that date.

10.   DRAMA ONE ACTS May 23-25 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rotary Theater.

11.   LOG ASSEMBLY is on May 29th; regular assembly schedule.

12.   LOG NIGHT is on May 29th on campus.

13.   SPRING CHOIR SHOW is on May 31st 7:00 p.m. at the LJ Williams Theater.



14.   LAST CALL FOR GRAD NITE TICKET SALES, only 15 tickets left!  Pick up a packet to be filled out and $135 in the Finance Office!

15.   All new, interested, or returning GIRLS WATER POLO players come by room 107 this week to pick up a flyer with information regarding off season and summer practices! Practices start next week!
SENIORS:

1.       GRAD NITE is Thursday May 16th.  We will be leaving Redwood from the Mineral King Parking Lot to head to Magic Mountain at 7:00 p.m.  Students need to be at campus NO LATER THAN 6:45 p.m.

2.       SENIOR BBQ & LOG NIGHT is on May 29th 5:00 p.m. on campus.

3.       SENIORS:  SENIOR BREAKFAST will be on Wednesday June 5th at 7:00 a.m. in the Cafeteria.  MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE will be on June 5th at 8:00 a.m. in the bowl.  REDWOOD GRADUATION is June 5th.

4.       SENIORS:  GRADUATION REMINDER - Seniors cannot bring cellphones, purses, and bags to the graduation ceremony.  Graduation caps cannot be altered or decorated.  Only CSF gold cords, C & C blue cords and Board award medals, and Principal award medals may be worn during the ceremony.  Seniors need to be in the gym at 6:30 p.m.  The Graduation Ceremony will start at 7:30 p.m.; gates open at 6:00 p.m., Giddings Street gates.  Balloons are not allowed in the Mineral King Bowl.
