TODAY:

1.       AP TESTING will be held TODAY thru May 17th in the Library.

2.       GIRLS BASKETBALL:  Informational MEETING TODAY during lunch in the Fitness Center.  Coach Hylton will be there to discuss summer practice schedule.  Pizza will be served.

3.       GREEN CLUB'S LAST MEETING OF THE YEAR TODAY, Room 33 during lunch!   Free food and officer elections for next year- all welcome. Come celebrate a rockin' Green year!

4.       SCHOLARSHIP NIGHT TONIGHT at 7:00 p.m. Rotary Theater.
SPORTS TODAY/EARLY RELEASES:
NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

1.       HEY RANGERS!  Interested in joining RANGER TV (Advanced Media Broadcasting) for the 2019-2020 school year?  Please come to Room 75 Thursday May 16th at lunch for a short interview.
PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.       Who wants to go to France? Mme Newman is planning a trip to France for April of 2020.  We will have an INFORMATIONAL MEETING THURSDAY NIGHT, MAY 16TH at 6:30 in room 47 for parents and students interested and wanting more information.

2.      Hey Rangers! Interested in playing in Redwood's first ULTIMATE FRISBEE tournament? Get your team of 5-6 players and sign up with Mrs. Moore in Ranger Hall, Room 203! The winners of the entire tournament get to play the staff and will receive free champion t-shirts! Sign up before May 17th and text @redwoodult to 81010 for more information.

3.       VHSPA Awards is on May 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the LJ Williams Theater.

4.       STUDENT RECOGNITION BBQ is on May 21st during lunch on campus.

5.       SPRING SPORTS RECOGNITON ASSEMBLY is on May 23rd.  Bell schedule will be in bulletin on that date.

6.       DRAMA ONE ACTS May 23rd-25th at 7:00 p.m. in the Rotary Theater.

7.       VUSD STUDENT INCLUSIVITY TASK FORCE- VUSD seeks students to serve on the inclusivity task force starting fall 2019.  During the 18-19 school year  the task force members focused on dress code.  Topics for the 19-20 school year will be determined by the membership of the task force.  To apply for membership on the task force, go to https://forms.gle/8Jjv7M8eabPCxaNa7 and complete the application by May 24, 2019. 8.       LOG ASSEMBLY is on May 29th; regular assembly schedule.

9.       LOG NIGHT is on May 29th on campus,

10.   The REDWOOD RANGER BANDS will have a Parent Meeting on Thursday, May 30th at 6:00 pm in the Band Room. All parents-current and incoming, MUST attend this meeting. Information for Band Camp, Fall Marching Band, Trips, and Fundraising will be discussed. All Parents need to attend.

11.   SPRING CHOIR SHOW is on May 31st 7:00 p.m. at the LJ Williams Theater.

12.   CAN FOOD DRIVE.  ABLAZE CLUB MEMBERS: bring your food cans this week. Fill the box by Attendance Office, Mr. Vieira's Room 30, Ms.  Medina's Room P1.  Let's help feed some hungry people. Tell your friends to donate cans so we can surpass our goal. Can food drive will end in a week.
SENIORS:

1.       SENIOR BBQ & LOG NIGHT is on May 29th 5:00 p.m. on campus.

2.       SENIORS:  SENIOR BREAKFAST will be on Wednesday June 5th at 7:00 a.m. in the Cafeteria.  MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE will be on June 5th at 8:00 a.m. in the bowl.  REDWOOD GRADUATION is June 5th.

3.       SENIORS:  GRADUATION REMINDER - Seniors cannot bring cellphones, purses, and bags to the graduation ceremony.  Graduation caps cannot be altered or decorated.  Only CSF gold cords, C & C blue cords and Board award medals, and Principal award medals may be worn during the ceremony.  Seniors need to be in the gym at 6:30 p.m.  The Graduation Ceremony will start at 7:30 p.m.; gates open at 6:00 p.m., Giddings Street gates.  Balloons are not allowed in the Mineral King Bowl.

4.       SENIORS:  Sign up for FINAL TRANSCRIPTS in the Counseling Office to be mailed to your college.  Please have the address to the admissions office available when signing up.
