TODAY:

1.      COS ENGLISH @ Redwood for 2020-21: A mandatory registration lottery will be held on Monday, March 16th at 8am in the Redwood Cafeteria for JUNIORS who are interested in registering for the Dual Enrollment COS English classes at Redwood for the 2020-21 schoolyear. We are offering 2 sections of COS English so spots are limited. Juniors must be present to enter into the lottery.

  1.  CHRISTIANS IN ACTION will be meeting TODAY in the Choir room during lunch. Invite a friend!

NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  1.  JUNIORS.....You are invited to apply to the Visalia Rotary "Camp Royal" Leadership Conference this summer! Applications are available in the Counseling office (Mr. Matta). Deadline to submit your application to the counseling office is Wednesday, April 1st. Listed below are some facts regarding the application process and selection:
*         Camp Royal runs from Sunday, June7 through Friday, June 12th...you must be able to attend the entire camp session.
*         Application and interview will be used to select students
*         Two letters of recommendation are required.
*         Students must write a 100 words or less essay entitled: Why I would like to attend Camp royal and leadership responsibilities you have had in the past.
*         Copy of your current High School Transcript

PREVIOUSE ANNONCEMENTS

1.      THE NEXT Presidents Council meeting will be Wednesday 3/25 at lunch in room 31.  Food will be provided.  We will be discussing battle week, car show, powder puff and more.

2.      A REPRESENTATIVE from California Aeronautical University will be visiting on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020 during 6th period in the XL office 2nd floor of the library. Sign up in the XL office. They will be going over their programs in aircraft maintenance, aviation dispatch, aviation business administration, and professional pilot.

3.      CHEER TRYOUT packets are available in the Student Services office.  Completed packets are due March 26 by 4pm in the Student Services office.

4.      BIOLA University will be on campus on March 27th during 4th period. Sign up with Mrs. Hayslett in the counseling office.

5.      THE SATURDAY ACADEMY is here! Spring semester dates are:  March 21, April 18 & 25, and May 2, 9, 16 & 30.  If you are a senior, this recovers any previous absences.  The Academy is from 8:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.  Please be on time and enter through the gate between the cafeteria and the auto shop.  Please check with the attendance office to find out which teachers will be holding classes!

6.      FBLA presents The Feelin' Fresh Hygiene Closet. If you need every day hygiene products (eq. shampoo/ conditioner, soap, toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant, fem hyg. products, etc.) for free, stop by the nurse's office and grab some!

7.      ENJOY GAMING? Come put your skills to the test and take your team all the way to the state championship. This spring Redwood high school will have League of Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch, Fortnite, and a Smash Bros. esports teams. Contact Mr. Cazarez Room 45 with your interest in gaming for this spring season.
