Senior Portraits

Essence Fine Photography and Your High School Yearbook Department have worked together to have your portrait made for publication in the yearbook. This service will be provided free of charge.  Your Yearbook Portrait Day has been set for Wednesday October 28.



YOU DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND IF YOU HAVE ALREADY TAKEN YOUR SENIOR PORTRAIT WITH ESSENCE PHOTOGRAPHY.



This will be a drive-through event.  All portraits will be done at the school parking lot on Mineral King and Conyer.  Please enter the parking lot from the Conyer St. entrance.

You may view your images online and choose one pose for the yearbook from the images taken.  Instructions on how to choose your pose and/or purchase your photos can be found on the flyer posted on the redwood website daily bulletin.

Financial Aid Workshop

SENIORS: October 14this the FAFSA/Dream Act Application workshop.

Seniors with the last name that falls under A-L can join from 5:00 - 6:30PM, and students with a last name that falls under M-Z can join from 6:30 - 8:00PM.   It is recommended that you start the application and create an FSA ID before the workshop next Wednesday.   If you do not, you may be asked to leave the workshop to create an FSA ID, which then you will be able to join the workshop.  The workshop is intended to help clarify any questions you may have regarding the FAFSA/Dream Act Application.  COS has provided step-by-step instructional videos as well as handouts that can be printed out to assist you in starting/completing your FAFSA application.  It is recommended to get as far as you can on the application, prior to signing on to the workshop.

Attention CSF seniors who will achieve 100% lifetime status this year: If you are interested in applying for the 2021 Seymour, Sealbearer, or Redwood CSF Scholarships, please email Mrs. Cheatwood at cheatwood at vusd.org<mailto:cheatwood at vusd.org> and attach the following 4 documents:  a current transcript, a list of activities, awards, & achievements, and a double-space letter of recommendation with letterhead from a community service that is not connected to Redwood High School. The deadline for applying for these 3 types of scholarships is December 1, 2020.

Attention CSF seniors!

 If you are interested in writing an essay for the Michelson Award, go to the csf-cjsf.org website to view details.

The topic this year is a volunteer experience that has had an impact on you and your community. Our club number is #512, and the 800-1,000 word essay may be submitted starting November 1.  The due date is December 22.  If you are an excellent writer, and you are involved in community service, then don't miss this opportunity to win $1,000 dollars.  Good luck!
