DAILY BULLETIN


Students

1.     Attention students: If you leave campus or cross the street you are not allowed to ride the bus home.

2.    Students are to use the MPR bathrooms at break and at lunch. Center Bathrooms and East Bathrooms are off limits during those times.

3.    Students who use cellphones to record school activities can face disciplinary action. Cell phones are to be put away and not seen during school hours.

4.    Students, make sure your clothing meets dress code. You will be asked to change if you are out of dress code.

5.    Do you have boring basic Saturdays? VO has a program known as Saturday University where kids can experience school in new ways than ever before. Our next Saturday University is October 7th, of this month from 9:00-1:15. ALL students are welcome.  For more information about how to sign up see Mrs. Scott or Mr. Marroquin.

6.    Attention students!!! If you are an artist and you're interested in participating in a state wide contest, please go see our new Art Teacher-Mr.Cerecedo for more details, deadline for the contest is October 10th! The winner will receive some cool prices and their artwork will be displayed in art calendar.  Don't wait!

7.    Any students attending Golden West football games must be accompanied by one of their parents or they will not be admitted.

8.      Attention Students:  Picture retakes will take place on Wednesday, September 27th, from 9 am - 11 am.  If you took pictures before and would like to retake your picture, you must return the picture package you have already received.  If you are a new student or were absent on picture day, even if you do not want to purchase pictures, please be sure to follow the instructions on retake day to ensure that you receive your Student ID card.  If you would like to purchase pictures, pick up a picture envelope in front of the office Monday morning during your break.

9.    The Pulse Program has the following up-coming events, sign up today to participate. *Harry Potter Club every Friday, meets in room 106-Quidditch tournament coming soon. *Cardboard Challenge is Thursday, November 16th. What can you do with cardboard boxes and recycled supplies? Prizes for best design. *Interested in playing football, we still have spots available on our Pulse flag football team. All players welcomed. Games are every Friday. *If you like to argue and know your always right, well we have a team for you. Come check out our debate team. They meet every Tuesday and Thursday in the computer lab. *We are also offering science, art, fitness and board gaming clubs, don't miss out on all the fun after school. Sign up today!!

10.  7th grade football players at La Joya, game starts at 4pm please release all 7th grade football players at 3:00pm.

11.  Volleyball takes on Dinuba at home.  Game starts at 4:00pm.  Go Broncos.

12.  Reminder sports pictures are September 26th after school.
