Attention students: If you leave campus or cross the street you are not allowed to ride the bus home. 2. Students are to use the MPR bathrooms at break and at lunch. Center Bathrooms and East Bathrooms are off limits during those times. 3. Students who use cellphones to record school activities can face disciplinary action. Cell phones are to be put away and not seen during school hours. 4. Students, make sure your clothing meets dress code. You will be asked to change if you are out of dress code. 5. Do you have boring basic Saturdays? VO has a program known as Saturday University where kids can experience school in new ways than ever before. Our next Saturday University is May 5th, from 9:00-1:15. ALL students are welcome. If you would like more information about Saturday U, visit the Valley Oak web page. 6. Students: During lunch the grass area is for students who are actively playing. If you are standing around you will be redirected to the blacktop. "No play, no stay" 7. Attention 7th Grade Students: if you are interested in being in Valley Oaks Leadership class for the 2018-2019 school year stop by the office to pick up an application. Applications are due back to the office by Friday, May 4th. 8. Attention 7th Grade Students: Are you kind? Do you think you would be a good WEB Leader? If you answered yes to those questions then pick up a WEB application in the office. Friday, May 4th, is your last day to turn in the completed application to Mr. Evans in room 705. 9. Attention Students: Your Points WILL NOT carry over to next year. Make sure you spend your points before the end of the year. The student store will be close for the year after Thursday May 24th. 10. 8th graders: Magic Mountain Grad Night tickets are on sale NOW! Sign up with Mrs. Salazar or Mrs. Castro before school, at break, or afterschool to reserve your spot on the bus. Remember, space is limited so be prepared with your Magic Mountain packet and $65 to be put on the list and receive your ticket for this totally awesome celebration!! 8th Graders: Only 29 more spots left on the bus for Grad Night at Magic Mountain. Sign-ups end May 1st or until we run out of seats. 11. Hey Broncos, it's not too late to order your yearbook. Get one for $40. Order forms available in the front office, the library, and in room 109. Order yours before we sell out. 12. GW Color Guard auditions are here! Workshops to learn the choreography and technique for the audition will be held on Monday, April 30th and Tuesday, May 1st. The final audition will be held on Thursday, May 3rd. All workshops and auditions will be in the Golden West band room (M5). Please visit Mr. Cory in the band room to pick up a flyer or if you have any questions.
