DAILY BULLETIN

Students:

1.     Attention students: If you leave campus or cross the street you are not allowed to ride the bus home.

2.    Students are to use the MPR bathrooms at break and at lunch. Center Bathrooms and East Bathrooms are off limits during those times.

3.    Students who use cellphones to record school activities can face disciplinary action. Cell phones are to be put away and not seen during school hours.

4.    Attention Students:  Blankets are not allowed at school.  If you bring one it will be confiscated and held until the final bell.

5.    Students, make sure your clothing meets dress code. You will be asked to change if you are out of dress code.

6.    Do you have boring basic Saturdays? VO has a program known as Saturday University where kids can experience school in new ways than ever before. Our next Saturday University is February 24th, from 9:00-1:15. ALL students are welcome.  If you would like more information about Saturday U, visit the Valley Oak web page.

7.    Attention Ivanhoe Students: The Ivanhoe Elementary School Computer Lab is located in their multi-purpose room and is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 - 8 pm.

8.    Students:  During lunch the grass area is for students who are actively playing.  If you are standing around you will be redirected to the blacktop.  "No play, no stay"

9.    AVID pizza sales will be taking place on Tuesdays. $2 a slice. We will be located outside the MPR.

10.  Attention girl and boy soccer players:  You need to turn in your jersey and shorts to Ms. Martins by next week or you will not be able to try out for the next sport.

11.  The Book Fair will run from through February 23rd.  It will be open every day before school, break, both lunches and after school.

12.  All girls that are interested in playing Softball this year, should meet this Friday, February 16th, right after school in RM 204 for details about tryouts.

13.  Teachers and students, next week is Kindness Week! Get ready for fun dress up days, lunch time activities, food trucks on Friday and a whole lot of kindness!  To kick it off, we will be doing a Kindness poster challenge in your first period class. Winning 7th and 8th grade classes will get a donut and hot chocolate party.

14.  Students, Kindness Week is among us! Tuesday we'll kick it off with Crazy Sock Day! Iif you dress up every day you will get an early release lunch pass for Friday's Food Trucks!  Join us at lunch to paint some kindness rocks on the outside stage; grab an Otter Pop on your way out.
