DAILY BULLETIN
Students:
1. Attention students: If you leave campus or cross the street you are not allowed to ride the bus home.
2. Students are to use the MPR bathrooms at break and at lunch. Center Bathrooms and East Bathrooms are off limits during those times.
3. Students who use cellphones to record school activities can face disciplinary action. Cell phones are to be put away and not seen during school hours.
4. Attention Students: Blankets are not allowed at school. If you bring one it will be confiscated and held until the final bell.
5. Students, make sure your clothing meets dress code. You will be asked to change if you are out of dress code.
6. Do you have boring basic Saturdays? VO has a program known as Saturday University where kids can experience school in new ways than ever before. Our next Saturday University is February 24th, from 9:00-1:15. ALL students are welcome. If you would like more information about Saturday U, visit the Valley Oak web page.
7. Attention Ivanhoe Students: The Ivanhoe Elementary School Computer Lab is located in their multi-purpose room and is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 - 8 pm.
8. Students: During lunch the grass area is for students who are actively playing. If you are standing around you will be redirected to the blacktop. "No play, no stay"
9. AVID pizza sales will be taking place on Tuesdays. $2 a slice. We will be located outside the MPR.
10. The Book Fair will run from through February 23rd. It will be open every day before school, break, both lunches and after school.
11. Attention athletes! Track and Field conditioning starts this today at 3:35p. Bring running shoes and your emergency contact form.
12. Kindness Week is in full effect! Tomorrow is Be Kind to Your School Day, so wear your Valley Oak Spirit gear! If you dress up every day, you will get an early release lunch pass for Friday's Food Trucks! Join us at lunch on the stage to create a kindness chain. Write some uplifting messages to be displayed at Friday's assembly. On your way out, get an Otter Pop for participating. Also at lunch, buy a Kindness Gram today. They will be $1.00 and will be sent out 1st period Monday February 26th. Don't forget to complete the items on the Kindness Challenge card today is the last day before they are due.
