DAILY BULLETIN
Students

1.     Attention students: Any student who is interested in participating in the 2020 Spelling Bee needs to meet in room 104 at the beginning of lunch on Monday, December 16th. You will participate in a written spelling bee to see who the top 7th & 8th grade students will be to represent Valley Oak in Spring. If you have any questions, feel free to ask Mrs. Gonzalez in room 104.

2.    The PULSE after school soccer club meets every Tuesday and Thursday after school from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, with games on Fridays. This is a no cost, no cut, co-ed team. To sign up pick up a Pulse application from the office.

3.    The PULSE after school basketball club meets every Monday and Wednesday after school from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, with games on Fridays. This is a no cost, no cut, co-ed team. To sign up pick up a Pulse application from the office.

4.    December 18th, 19th, and 20th, the Cafeteria will be only serving Breakfast before school and at break. There will be NO LUNCHES ON THE LAST 3 DAYS BEFORE WINTER BREAK.

5.    Attention Students: We are holding our annual canned food drive until December 17th. Please place any canned food or non-perishable food items in the box in your 1st period class. The 7th and 8th-grade 1st period classes that collect the most items will receive a doughnut breakfast party.

6.    The North gates will now be locked at all times and all students will only enter campus from the front gate.

7.    Attention bike riders:  Please be sure to have a way to lock your bike up if you will leave it in the bike rack at school.
8.    Attention students: If you leave campus or cross the street you are not allowed to ride the bus home.

9.    Students are to use the MPR bathrooms at break and at lunch. Center Bathrooms and East Bathrooms are off limits during those times.

10.  Students who use cellphones to record school activities can face disciplinary action. Cell phones are to be put away and not seen during school hours.

11.  Students, make sure your clothing meets dress code. You will be asked to change if you are out of dress code.
