DAILY BULLETIN
Students:

1.   Valley Oak Promotion will be help on Friday, June 7th from 8:45-10:00.  Students please return the early release papers to your 1st period teachers.  Dress code will be enforced.

2.   There will be a basketball session for WIN Academy this Saturday. If you are interested, talk to Mr. Lara.

3.   Hello Valley Oak!  Our yearbook will soon be emerging amongst our students. The books will be distributed Thursday, June 6th, during break and after school. Students will have the opportunity to pick up their pre-ordered yearbook and to purchase any yearbooks that may be left over during these times only. The price is $40 Cash only please. Teachers please do not allow students to leave your classroom to visit me during the school day. A student who interrupts my class will be turned away and be asked to go to the distribution place during break and after school only.  Students who pre-ordered a yearbook online will receive a receipt during homeroom today and will need to present the day of distribution.  If you have any questions, see Mr. C during break.

4.   If you had Mrs. Gonzalez as your 7th grade ELA teacher last year, don't forget to swing by her classroom to pick up the 7th grade letter you wrote to yourself!

5.   7th Grade Letters can be picked up from your 7th grade ELA teachers this week at break. If you had Mrs. Hudson or Ms. Rapozo, you can pick up your letter from Miss Grote in room 102. If you had Ms. Hutchinson, you can pick up your letter from Mrs. Gonzalez in room 104.

6.   Attention all students starting Wednesday, June 5th, Thursday, June 6th, and Friday, June 7th, the cafeteria will be serving breakfast only before school and at break.

7.   Attention 8th grade students!  If you ae planning on participating in athletics at Golden West, you must complete an athletic eligibility packet.  We have athletic packets available for you in the front office.

8.   The last WIN Academy will be on June 1st. Each day attended can make up an absence. WIN Academy runs from 8:00-12:30. You must attend the full time to be able to make up an attendance. Sign up online or talk/email Mr. Lara.

9.   Attention Valley Oak Athletes:  If you still have a uniform from any athletic team, you must return it to Mr. Delgado in room 402 right away.  If you do not return it, your parents will be given a bill to replace the uniform.

10. Students:  You must clear with the library to participate in end of the year activities.  8th graders you will not walk in promotion if you haven't cleared textbooks, library books and fines with the library.  Currently, past due library books total 154 for 7th grade and 191 for 8th grade.
11. Attention 8th Grade Students:  Appropriate dress for both boys and girls will be required at the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony.  Absolutely NO baggy or saggy pants, spaghetti straps, backless dresses, hats, or other clothing that violates the VUSD Dress Code will be allowed.  Any student violating the dress code will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.
