DAILY BULLETIN

Students

1.     Attention Students:  Blankets are not allowed at school.  If you bring one it will be confiscated and held until the final bell.

2.    Calling ALL students: CJSF sign-ups are here! 8th graders-Don't miss your last opportunity to sign-up for CJSF to be honored at the Promotion ceremony and 7th graders-Get a head start on CJSF qualifications! More information will be coming your way through your ELA teacher. Start gathering your first semester report cards and $3 dues now. Sign-ups will be held starting Tuesday, February 11th through Friday, February 21st with Mrs. Salazar in room 110 during break.

3.    Attention Athletes! If you would like to try out for a spring sport, including baseball, softball and track and field, tryouts will begin Monday, February 24. In order to try out for a sport, your parent or guardian must register you on FamilyID before this date. The link is available on the Valley Oak website on the Bronco Athletics page for all new spring athletes. If you have registered previously for a winter sport, you just need to log back in to FamilyID and "enroll" in the spring sport you would like to play. Please see Ms. Botts in room 603 if you have any questions.

4.    Oranges aren't your thing? Taco pizza meh . . . not so much?! Broncos can now place unwanted items from breakfast or lunch in the sharing box. Place the uneaten, unopened item in the sharing box to give to another student. Want an extra milk or still hungry for those apple slices? Pick something up from the sharing box located by the checkout table.

5.    Attention bike riders:  Please be sure to have a way to lock your bike up if you will leave it in the bike rack at school.
6.    Attention students: If you leave campus or cross the street you are not allowed to ride the bus home.

7.    Students are to use the MPR bathrooms at break and at lunch. Center Bathrooms and East Bathrooms are off limits during those times.

8.    Students who use cellphones to record school activities can face disciplinary action. Cell phones are to be put away and not seen during school hours.

9.    Students, make sure your clothing meets dress code. You will be asked to change if you are out of dress code.
