DAILY BULLETIN

Students

1. Attention 7th and 8th grade Readers. We will be meeting for Reading Revolution on Wednesday 2/26! 8th graders will meet in room 111 and 7th graders will meet in the library. Hope to see you there!

2. We have started our Pennies for Patients Collection Drive to help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The class that collects the most pennies will earn a donut party. So put pennies in the provided boxes in your first period class. Here is the catch: to win put dollar bills and silver coins in other teacher's boxes. The bills and silver coins will cancel out pennies that class has collected cent for cent. The class that collects the most pennies after all "deductions" will win.

3. Attention Students: Blankets are not allowed at school. If you bring one it will be confiscated and held until the final bell.

4. Attention Athletes! If you would like to try out for a spring sport, including baseball, softball and track and field, tryouts will begin Monday, February 24. In order to try out for a sport, your parent or guardian must register you on FamilyID before this date. The link is available on the Valley Oak website on the Bronco Athletics page for all new spring athletes. If you have registered previously for a winter sport, you just need to log back in to FamilyID and "enroll" in the spring sport you would like to play. Please see Ms. Botts in room 603 if you have any questions.

5. Attention bike riders: Please be sure to have a way to lock your bike up if you will leave it in the bike rack at school.
6. Attention students: If you leave campus or cross the street you are not allowed to ride the bus home.

7. Students are to use the MPR bathrooms at break and at lunch. Center Bathrooms and East Bathrooms are off limits during those times.

8. Students who use cellphones to record school activities can face disciplinary action. Cell phones are to be put away and not seen during school hours.

9. Students, make sure your clothing meets dress code. You will be asked to change if you are out of dress code.
